I actually took some time to search for an interesting one so you better be grateful for it you ungrateful shit.

Also, if there are any Bethesda or id games you'd buy if they came to GOG, make sure you contact them - http://www.gog.com/forum/general/bethesdaidzenimax_contact_thread

HypersomniacLive: I will assume that the torture of the two weeks sale that you endured has gotten the better of you and leave it at that as you apparently can't take a tease and needed to resort to foul language.

Have a nice day.
Heh, I was actually being facetious , but I felt a ";)" would ruin the punchiness of what I said. My apologies.

I was serious about the Bethesda/id/ZeniMax thing, though.
Thanks for this awesome Summer Sale! Some very fine bundles GOG is offering here...

zaine-h: GOG is making it very difficult to not buy games. I promised myself I was done after day one! :P

I'll have to update mine but it's currently sitting at 40. There are a lot of games I just haven't added yet. :)

ne_zavarj: I must resist those bundle deals . Wanted to buy books instead of GOG games . (;_・)
I have completely forgot about the books, fuck. LOL

It's ok, just remember that we need substitutes for facial expression and tone of voice on the Internet. Using written communication when hardly knowing one another can quite easily lead to misunderstandings, just like this one. ;-)

And I know that you were serious about Bethesda/id/ZeniMax; your devotion is well known here and I commend you for it, but I will never be grateful about the whining in the release threads. :-P

Yeah, our difference of opinion there probably won't ever change. ;)
I'm damn excited about gog galaxy, and extended linux support.

But, if you just release all of the scummVM and DOSbox games and nothing else on linux, I'll be pissed.
Even moreso if they aren't packaged for common distros.

You've managed to avoid disappointing me thus far though.
Very good sale GOG, and once again thank you for the five (!) free games given away over the period of the sale. After a rough start to the year I think that normal service is really starting to resume again.
GOG had rly great sales/discounts,... they even had packs, a nice background image, free games and heavy price drops.....

sadly i put my money on the wrong horse....steam horse...
I should next time spent my money on gog, i hope they get something like steam wallet where i can uploade my PSC money! (GoGGalaxy, i'm looking at you!!)

i rly would like to have this D&D pack, this heavy price drop is not normal!!
Whelp, told myself and held back and of course I didn't.

Well played GOG, well played...

I bought five games on GOG and five on Steam (that cost me around 15$ on GOG and 18 euros on Steam). Still, more cash went to GOG as around 9 euros spend on Steam came from selling trading cards :)

Same here! It's been in a few sales so it will probably pop back up again soon enough. Which ones were you interested in?
That's it, I'm done. My wallet can't take no more. I think I have over 80 new titles in my shelf since the sale started. That can only mean that this was a amazing sale.

So, let's list some of the best purchases from the sale...

- D&D Masterset (Baldur's gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Planescape Torment etc)
- Jagged Alliance series
- Eador Genesis
- Expeditions Conquistador
- Farcry 1+2
- IL2 Sturmovik
- Miasmata
- Alpha Centauri
- Spellforce series
- Spiderweb collection (Avadon, Avernum, Geneforge)
- Age of Wonders
- Deus Ex 1+2
- Silent Storm
- Master of Magic
- Penumbra collection

And, of course, many more. :-)

Thank you GOG for an awesome sale, amazing freebies, and for relieving me from the burden of deciding where to put my money!
