With 700+ games discounted up to 90% off, daily special Bundle Deals, a constant stream of exciting Flash Sales, and some fantastic surprise giveaways, we launch into the season of gaming joy!

The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

phaolo: Believe me, that's nothing for a gamer. Some people bought 700+ titles here plus other titles elsewhere.
But I'm fine with my choices (mostly) and I've already played a lot of them.
The backlog is still huge, but I'm set for the near future lol.
When my wishlist will be emptied, I'll just have to check new GOG releases.

Minmataro: HAHA Well i would hope you are happy with your choices. I know i am. At certain points i do get frustrated though since i struggle to find the time to play everything.

Still think it would be a good idea to put together a Digital game buying addicts support group lol.
I do not know about a "digital" game-buying-addicts support group, but I have heard mention of one here from time to time called "GOG Anonymous", and if it were possible I would say I am a card-carrying member and proud of it!

*thinks to self: Wait... isn't one not supposed to be proud of an addiction, ever?*
Crap! I just woke up.....did I miss the flash deal for Banished at all?

Minmataro: Gog killed me with this sale... i purchased 10 games so far. Ill have to budget myself for the Steam summer sale that hits in 2 days...
avatar
Gnostic: No need to save for steam, spend all here. I must have bought more than 50 games this promo alone and counting
Unless Rome Total War II and its dlcs get a -75% tag; I will also bypass the Steam sale... My wishlists are usually fairly small ( GOG 's was 14 games and 3 dlc before the sale, is now 11 games and 3 dlcs , after having added Moebius, Consortium and the Last Federation to my inventory. Still hope to get the journeyman project games or Broken Sword 5 ....

TakumiRayne: Is it just me or are there less Flash Sales? :(
Appears to be, but I count that as a gift since I can now sleep soundly knowing I won't miss out on much 12.30am here at the moment.

No.
There were 6 flash deals every cycle yesterday, now there are (thankfully) two.

Not yet, assuming there will be one.

Banished apparently will nor appear in flash sale, but you can buy now at the 50% in the normal sale (or wait if appears in the daily one)

MWink: No.
Oh good :)
When does the sale end do we know? Weekend? Week long? month long? Any ideas?
avatar
jackster79: Is that 255 on the wishlist, or 255 on the shelf? If that is 255 purchases, well... you and I need to get together to discuss how that came to be.
avatar
deonast: Is that too little? I have 635 as it currently stands on GOG and 909 on steam. Though in that number are probably some episodes of episodic games which by rights should be bundled and counted as just one game.

Some of the steam games are games I already own on GOG, via bundles or steam getting them first etc
You are right - that is too little. Strictly digitally I only have just over 300 here, maybe 30 on Steam and Gamestop combined. I have a long way to go before my collection is anywhere near that of the Grand Collectors here, to which I humbly bow in respect.

I'm after Transistor, Might & Magic X Legacy, Broforce, Frozen Endzone, Nuclear throne and Plague inc Evolved on Steam... sadly none of those are on GoG...

Actually bothers me a great deal that i cant get the new Might & Magic in the same place i have the rest of the collection.
I get to be punished for wanting to complete my collection... M&MXL has double DRM (steam + uplay)...

no one knows.

they're not telling anyone.

very secretive, the Gog collective...
No confirmation one way or another on Banished. An image was found by JMich in the format for this sale. It will likely go up at some time and in some form. Personally I'm holding out to see. And a GoG member said June 30th for the end. The link is in one of these threads.
