With 700+ games discounted up to 90% off, daily special Bundle Deals, a constant stream of exciting Flash Sales, and some fantastic surprise giveaways, we launch into the season of gaming joy!

The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

CelestialBunny: 4 Free Flash Games (In this 24 hour timeframe)

#1 - Omerta
#2 - Still Life 2
#3 - Torchlight (11pm GMT)
#4 - American Nightmare OR Banished (3am GMT)

After that it "should" repeat for those who missed them and/or were asleep or doing other things
Please, please be Banished. I already own AN and I think Banished would probably be a better game, anyway. Plus, for selfish reasons, it would sort of sting to miss the two games I don't already own (Omerta and Still Life 2) to catch the two I already do (Torchlight and American Nightmare). If you're right about them repeating though, I think we'll all be very happy campers (campers=gamers). :)
Please have Banished as the 4th game

And yes, I am convinced that it will be AN. Let's be honest, Banished is far too new and shiny for it to be turned into a freebie.
Of course GOG could prove me wrong. Magrunner was new and shiny too. PROVE ME WRONG GOG!

Nope, not biased at all here.

edit: Just checked, magrunner is a year old, banished 4 months. So; noope!

HypersomniacLive: Happy to have helped. :-)

AttObl: Torchlight is free, but I got it already.

And I really wish that SWAT 3 is on the flash sales sometime later on. If not, then I'll still get it anyway.
avatar
HypersomniacLive: All possible flash deals have been revealed by JMich, and SWAT 3 is not among them.
Aw crap, I thought SWAT 3 would make the cut!

And thank you anyway. +1 to you! At least I got IL-2 Strumovik out of the flash sales.

alondate: AND i dont think banished or a recent title will be free. It will most likely be an old game or an average recent game
It will either be Banished or Alan Wake's American Nightmare. We can speculate this with a rather high degree of confidence because all of the flash sale games have game graphic backgrounds specially made for the promo which were forensically discovered on the website somewhere around the day the Summer sale started and of the 238'ish (give or take) games predicted, all but 8 of them showed up in actual flash sale promos confirming the exact games in the promo. Of the 8 remaining game graphics that did not show up, it was speculated that these would either be the flash freebies GOG mentioned in their promotional advertising during the start of the sale and/or games that would be added discounted later on in the sale.

It turns out that both were true, and of all of the 8 graphics that were unaccounted for, every game that showed up today for the first time in the promo yet - were one of the missing 8. Of those, 3 of them have now been confirmed freebies (Still Life 2, Omerta, Torchlight), one has showed up as discounted DLC (Omerta Japanese DLC), and one has showed up as a discounted game (Outcast). That accounts for 5 of the 8 graphics.

The three remaining graphics are Banished, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and I believe the DLC for Outcast. It is reasonably speculated that the DLC for outcast will probably just be discounted like the game itself was rather than being free but that's just speculation. Either way, there is supposed to be one more freebie today, and it will be one of these 3 so in my humble opinion unfortunately anyone with their hopes up that it will be some other random game in the catalogue has probably not following along all of the awesome website forensics that have happened all week to figure out the entire sale before it happens. :)

It's anyone's guess which of these 3 will be the freebie, and whichever it is it is still awesome, but the two games seem the most likely candidates to me, and I'm rooting for Banished personally as I own the Alan Wake games already. ;oP Wont be long until we know likely though. :)

You're not left out, you're just hanging with me (I missed it, too).
does anyone have a gift of Omerta they dont mind sharing please? I can possibly trade for it - I have a gift of S2: Silent Storm Gold Edition, The Witcher and Torchlight (surprisingly). Thank you.

EDIT: thank you to the generosity of Puniasterus I now have Omerta. Thank you and enjoy the S2: Silent Storm gift in return.

I really hope they prove us all wrong and put Banished up for free. I'd be ecstatic if they did.

Also, I wouldn't mind if they were to repeat the freebies again... I'm kicking myself for missing Omerta. I've always wanted to try it, but never really wanted to buy it, since it's low on my list of gaming priorities... but still, I reeeeeally hope it comes around again.
I bet Jack Keane will be the next free game.

But, I think we're still all hoping, fingers and toes crossed, that we're wrong and that Banished will be the next freebie.
(PLEEEEASE) XD
Current percentage odds in Vegas for the 4th freebie:

74% Alan Wake American Nightmare
26% Banished
