If you ask me, I'd go straight to X3:AP. It still looks decent even by modern standards and most people think it's still the best the series has to offer.

Aw, bummer. If I had known it was down to two I would have stayed in for sure. I went ahead and purchased as I did not realize. However, your ultimate end was served. I now own X: TW and will start playing tonight.

I also got X: Rebirth the main game to give it a go as well.

Based on past experience, I wasn't expecting a lot of people to participate... but this is downright awkward :).

One problem might be that even though the game comes in several languages, the diary has to be written in English. I am sure WinterSnowfall and other readers will be alright with BSE (Bad Simple English).

Yes, and I'm also ok with pictures and captions, for e.g. "Me boarding Xenon Q", "Me drunk in a teladi bar" etc.

In my defense, I'd be in if I could tolerate open world/sandbox/shooter games. I'd honestly love to do the whole diary thing, but this game is quite outside my genre.
I could write you some fake diary entries though, if you like.

No worries, I know this isn't quite the kind of game everyone would play. No point in faking anything, the point is to play, have fun and discuss things (if you're really into the game, writing a "diary" comes naturally).
