For fist-timers: "fly-trough" is like the in-game view. "Free" is a free camera, click&hold left mouse button to rotate the camera, click&hold right mouse button to translate the camera on XY axis (and maybe mouse wheel for zooming but I'm currently on my laptop so I can't try it)
I played it on demo-cd too. It was pretty but I preferred ridge racer. Which I still think is the only driving game I've finished. Oh.. It isn't, there were few gran turismos.

Sony property, not happening. Same with the PC releases of Twisted Metal 1/2, HydroThunder, etc.
Wasn't Acid Burn in Hackers playing this?
I was introduced to the series with Wipeout Pure, on my PSP. It was a blast. And I should play the other games, too...
