Michagogi23: what is the city building game with the BIGGEST cities? i have a couple and im always disappointed that the cities are rather small and look awkward. please dont say sim city hehehe, may be true though.

Well, some cities in the later missions were quite big in Pharaoh
Well I can't think of anything that's a must-buy for me right now besides Gabriel Knight 2 which I've incidentally been playing the hell out of after playing the GOG release of GK1. The Beast Within is so awesome you can't believe it, even less when you know how bad most of the other FMV games in the history are.
However as you can probably guess, it's not such a matter of hurry for me since I was able to install my own original CD copy pretty easily using the DOSBox installer available at www.sierrahelp.com . :)
GK 2: The Beast Within is really the only game I'm waiting for. Sure, others would be nice, but they're not instant buys now.
I played it when I was younger and enjoyed it, but never completed the game. I'd also borrowed it off someone, so I had to give it back at some point. After clearing the first game, I'm naturally eager to play the game, because I do genuinely remember the game being rather good.
PS: Sorry to keep going on about waiting for the game. ;) Just want it to show up! I always appreciate a good story.
Edit: While it's too early to make assumptions at the moment, but if we get a late release, I'm willing to bet we'll see more than one game released today.

I'm willing to bet against.
Looks like you were right, Stonebro.
In my defense though, it wasn't a late release! ;)
Caesar 3! Instabuy! ... as soon as I get home, that is.
Also wishing for the rest of the Sierra city builders.

Really!

EDIT: Was that speed bug with the attacking army fixed in the GOG version? If so, I'll even buy this...

Not only do we get Caeser 3, but there is a game in the coming soon list :)

Heck, there's a forum for it.

That too. Though the screenshots are showing from the Driver game, not i76.
These "Interstate 76" screenshots reminds me about the Carmageddon. Though it was better than this one, I think..
Wish we could get that very first Carmageddon with expansion pack in here someday, I loved it. And forget the sequels.

Carmageddon was more famous due to the controversy, and it was a pretty good pick-up-and-play game... but it's not fit to kiss i76's tires!!
;-)
(but forget the sequel).

Heheh, so you say this is some kind of classic too (yeah, noob me :D )?
I loved Carma, so should I try this one also, or is there just another disappointment waiting for me? Haven't found better old skool massacre-driving game yet..
So...just heard from another forum that Interstate 76 is less arcade-y (or, as they put it, 'mechwarrior with cars') than other vehicular combat games (Carmageddon, Twisted Metal et al.). Is that true?

I played Carmageddon back in the day - didn't find it particularly "controversial". So you got to run over a few dozen pixelly people...like that's not been done before (Deathrace 2000 anyone?).
Hell, the graphics weren't that great either, but it was fun, and eminently playable.
I'd probably wishlist it if it appeared on gog. Might not get around to buying it soon after, but I'd buy it.
