Merry Christmas Gog forumers!
During this jolly season, I'd guess there is plenty of Christmas movies old and new around.
But for me nothing can beat the classic!
Meet Me In St. Louis

Put gaming aside for a bit now, What is your favorite Christmas movie(s)?
:+)

I was born in raised in St. Louis.

I hate that movie. :P
The Home Alone series.

Speaking of which, i wonder why GOG doesn't try adding old movies to its collection as well? I mean, the indie stuff is ok, but it would fit with the "Good Old ___" theme.
Scrooged. Enough said.

XD I'm just being stupid. I was born and raised there and have since moved 800 miles away from there, but I don't hold it against the movie. :P

As far as the topic, I have one thing to say:

"Be sure to drink your Ovaltine."

That's too cryptic - you'd need a decoder ring to figure which movie your talking about. :)

...
It's A Wonderful Life is good to watch as well.
Die Hard and Love, Actually are the only two Christmas movies that I can still watch without the need for a socially unacceptable amount of eggnog to mellow me out.

For years we used to visit my uncle in Rustenburg over christmas, and me and my cousins usually begged him to dig up his vhs copy of The Twelve Tasks of Asterix, which sort of ended up becoming my christmas movie of sorts.

edit: even now the part where they have to find permit A38 slays me XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GI5kwSap9Ug

The Polar Express.

It's become a tradition for our family to watch this every Christmas Eve. I make homemade hot chocolate and we drink it during the 'hot, hot chocolate' sequence on the train. My daughters wouldn't allow us to skip this tradition now.
Die Hard, because it's just such a classic!
Rudolph. Can't go wrong with Yukon Cornelius.
And the Peanuts Christmas movie.
There are three versions of the Christmas Carol I love- the Patrick Stewart version, the Muppets version, and the Scrooge McDuck one. I usually watch at least one of those on Christmas.

I also really like the Hogfather movie, adapted surprisingly well from Terry Prattchett's book. In years before I'd also wait for the Doctor Who Christmas special, but this year the show hit rock bottom, and I don't think even a christmas miracle can help.
No love for "Santa Clause Conquers the Martians"? :P
