adaliabooks: Come on Gog, where's our game(s)!?
They COULD start the new year with a few new releases indeed. But I don't think it's happening. :|

I'm imagining it's something new, simultaneous Steam releases are usually later.
I can't see them not releasing anything today...

I think they're going for maximum anticipation.

It would be awesome if that were the case... but I'm going for the slightly less exciting option to save disappointment ;)

Vythonaut: There won't be any games for now.... actually, GOG will shut down the store since "the numbers don't add up" and "it's been a great journey" and "blah-blah". Of course, that will be another marketing stunt, only to come back to life with the first releases of the year: Diablo, Starcraft & Warcraft. Welcome Blizzard!
Yep, and I'm sure we can all enjoy hunting those pesky airborne pigs with our Pegasi.
I'm looking forward to another $9 costume upgrade for Grim Dawn. :P
Might as well add my own prediction then:

Red Alert series. And other old C&C games.

The stream list only has one new release for the weekend and that might be some 'indie shit.' I hope that is not the actual case.

You did. :(

Yup :(

Very strange, it's odd for them not to release anything on a Tuesday... particularly when they released something spectacular this time last year...

adaliabooks: I was reminded by JMich's post here that last years first releases were a bunch of games from Paradox (if I remember correctly they were Paradox's first games here).

So do we think Gog has something similar planned for this year?

Are there any games confirmed for release in the coming week?

Painted_Doll: I'm waiting for the double Alice release on this week .
Wait what? Are there rumors of this? I love McGee's Alice games
Releases! The simultaneous arrival of Nicalis and Team Meat in honor of their joint release of the Afterbirth+ DLC for The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth. We could get Super Meat Boy, The Basement Collection, NightSky, Cave Story+, 1001 Spikes, Castle In The Darkness, Creepy Castle and Ittle Dew 2.

It would be funny if their first release would be a movie. Something big.

New vote:
Ben-Hur
If they really want to go big, what about STAR WARS: EPISODES I-VII?

Hmm, Maybe it will be the first Mass Effect game?
