In Torneko: The Last Hope, I legitimately obtained a Heal Ring, which is a very nice accessory; it heals you 10 HP per turn.
Of course, it does make you hungry twice as fast, but if you are a mage, you don't get hungry at all, and consider that the only thing you need to cast spells is HP...
I think you can see where this is going. (I was able to clear the Ordeal Mansion with 3 SpellBooks and a (cheated) Heal Ring when I previously played the game.)

Typical Duncan JB and Jazz combo like in so many rock guitars, so not exactly a thick sound, but cutting and suitable for lots of styles. 5-way switch too, so it can get a bit squeaky if needed.
