Spend a large sum on pizza and cola today because I got some money back from taxes. It's nice to sometimes spend your money foolishly just for the hell of it. That made me happy today.

I'm not a basketball fan in particular - especially pro - but we watched a few college games this season. The Big Ten tourney has been going on the last few days and 'our' Badgers came out on top. Yesterday's game was okay but today's contest against Michigan State was a really fun game to watch - until OT, when they shut-out the Spartans for the win. It was pretty dicey up until the final buzzer in regulation, and the Spartans put up a great fight.

I'm not sure it makes that much of a difference but the Badgers also managed to grab one of the four #1 seeds for the national tournament. Wisconsin isn't exactly well-known as a basketball powerhouse throughout history so a tournament win would be a hell of a thing.

In a situation like yours, my mum would turn to my dad and say, "Let's not fritter this away on necessities."

Had a birthday party for my kid today. I made too many cupcakes (is that possible?) and so we had enough to give to the other kids in the restaurant. Doesn't make much to make little children gleeful.

That was what made me so happy that I finally had money to spend on pizza and cola because I usually blow it all at the dentist. But I swear I just follow his advice: drink a lot of orange juice, cola and always get your daily dosage of sugar! He clearly knows best since he is the expert! :-)

I got leftover ham from my brother. He said they had it for 3 meals and are tired of it. Now I wish I had bought onions the last time I went shopping as ham and onion sandwich is one of my favorite meal. I had a taste and it's very good.

Earlier I was thinking of the religions that forbid eating pork or beef or some sea food, I think their god want it all for himself.

Thea and I got accepted for our new house at Oberon! Signing the lease on Wednesday. Stoked and relieved! Camping postponed for now, and I'm glad my camp is set up near the town we are moving to :)
