tfishell: Will the GOG staff be like "great job everybody, we got all the good old games that ever existed, we can shut down now", then forget to let everyone download their games beforehand? Will everyone lose interest and go back to Steam, thus sending GOG into bankruptcy? Wha happen?
I guess it wouldn't matter pretty much as much of the folks here today will probably be dead or in retirement homes by then ;)
They will increase their share of recently published releases, which is frankly the only chance I have to buy them because I AM F**KING DONE WITH DRM for some years now.

I'm here for this reason. No chance, NO - CHANCE for me to waste money on steam or other crapware.
Every single one of you is correct, thanks to the multiverse. :)

Wise man
I think when that time comes, they'll return to their home planet.
People will still whine because Gog hasn't made Retromator 2000 yet.

"Where is my Turned-to-Old game?!"
