Tom Clancy's The Division 2 - Stadia

I just picked it up last night and been playing it for a few missions with my wife and two friends and it was a lot of fun. We are going to make this a weekly thing now since the content seems interesting to all of us.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - Stadia

I picked it up when it was free awhile back. Currently at the 55% mark. It surprisingly good. Never played any of the previous games except for Lara Croft: GO. I'm digging it. My wife likes watching me play it also as her back seat gaming kicks in extra hard but it's all good.

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection - GOG

Man. Been playing these almost every day. I tried awhile back to get some of these ROMS up and working but the amount of work to set them up had me tapping out. Pretty glad this came out as I met my wife in the arcades when we were kids and she and I have been having fun playing Beast Busters and the Ikari games all over again.

Tonight We Riot - itch.io/GOG

I ended up installing the GOG version on top of my itch.io version which worked out well. I really like the GOG style of icons. We are almost done getting every map on 3 Gold but some of the driving maps are super hard to get no hits on.

Don't forget that you also get Crystalis, which is a game I loved as a child.

It's rather neat that you can just skip to any point in the games by just watching the video and opening the menu to start playing; I used it to play Crystalis's final boss fight without playing through the entire game. (That boss is rather easy, and is even Icicle Fail level easy, as there's a safe spot. Earlier bosses, including the second-to-last boss, are a lot harder.)

(Icicle Fail is a term that comes out of Touhou; specifically Touhou 6. In that game, if you're playing on Easy or Normal, the second boss uses, as her first spell card, a spell called "Ice Sign: Icicle Fall". On Easy, if you position yourself right in front of the boss, she can't hit you, but you can hit her, hence the nickname Icicle Fail. If you search youtube for "ice sign icicle fall", you'll see lots of Touhou videos of safespots during boss fights, with the music replaced with the music from that Touhou 6 boss fight, but not of the actual spellcard I mention here.)
Currently I'm playing:
- Baldur's Gate 3.
- Hollow Knight.
- Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams.
- Technobabylon.
- Tonight We Riot.
I tried for the 3rd time to play Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide, bit it's so boring I uninstalled after the first half or so. Will never understand how they could make a D&D game without a proper party, leads to horrible gameplay.
I was playing a bit of Descent last night. The wonderful thing about playing some old games today, especially of that vintage, is that you get to play them with mods that help make them even better than they were in their original time (e.g., sharper resolution, widescreen, better controls, etc.).
Dragons Dogma, its still awesome.
diablo 3
Titanfall 2 - Single Player Campaign (EA Origin)
Metro Exodus: PC Enhanced Edition (Steam).

I gave up on Descent because I could not get a feel for the controls, I played it a bit back in "the day" but too long into WASD w/ mouselook now I guess. Could you point out the mod you use for better control?

Speaking of 'Control', I bought the GOG version hoping it would be more stable than the *other two* I've purchased, and so far it has been. I still get crashes at some point but have been able to play for at least an hour or two first.
The last crash depressed me into going backward to try getting into Quantum Break again, and I have been enjoying that much more this time around. Seeing Courtney Hope makes me wish I could just go through Control fully though. :(
I'm getting desperate enough to just buy a console to play it on...and I know it will be worth it.

I'm using this mod for Descent 1 and 2: https://www.dxx-rebirth.com/
Redneck Rampage collection from GOG

Done with RR and Route 66
Got bug in one level (Ruins) where doors could not open, had to noclip or run on moonshine over the ledges. And platforming there sucks.
Messing around to run music only to get bored with it after 3/4 of the game, also had to remove one track because it was just talking.
This got to be the worst shotgun in the history, horizontal spread is massive while enemies easily can snipe you with that gun.
Levels in the first RR were convoluted near-maze like bloats, luckly other two games fixed that.
Colision issues that make combat even harder. Aliens are deadly even on easy where their titguns just cut you in half while you can just use them as a assault rifle with higher rate of fire but nothing extraordinary.

Overall the weakest Build shooter from the Top Four, easily.

Now time for Rides Again...
These streets are being patrolled by gangs. They're scum, just like you and they're here to hunt you down and cut you up.
Brian Cox did an outstanding job as Lionel Starkweather. To this day, I find Manhunt to be one of the strangest games ever. Also, James Earl Cash's resilience is off the charts.

Uf, The Last of Us is on another level. I have never played a game that had me so engaged straight from the get-go. To witness all hell breaking loose, people screaming and running around in terror, Joel trying to protect Sarah, Tommy at their side... It really makes you feel part of the world. The best introduction to a game, for sure.

I'm around 13-14 hours into Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition (Steam).

Thank you, I will definitely try it again with that mod.
Got the old school FPS bug when I played Dusk. Now I'm playing XIII, Shadow Warrior and Blood.
