Just finished playing through METRO 2033 on Ranger Hardcore difficulty. Got the "enlightened" ending. What a great game! I love the total lack of HUD and cross hairs on Ranger mode, and the scarcity of ammo and filters, with improved damage on "hardcore". The gasmask mechanics are still my favorite part of the game, since I actually wear SCBAs and full face respirators at work sometimes, and I find the masks in Metro 2033 to be very realistic (for a game).

Started playing Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy last night.

Finally got around to playing Bastion and just beat it. As usual I'm trying my best here to find something to nitpick but I just can't. It's not one of greatest fucking games I've ever played, but it was pretty damn nice. At first the narration just came across as pretentious (and I rarely throw this word around, even among indies that I hated and that other people label them as such), but in the long run it was more amusing than anything. The idols were a nice touch, and now I'm trying "hard mode" and later the Who Knows Where with them activated.

Wing Commander 2, which is a definite improvement over the first, not to mention there's less problems with slowdown in this one. WC1 just seems so simple in comparison. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck in a mission where I keep getting my ass handed to me. Oh, I can take care of the fighters easily enough, but that Kilrathi Outpost I'm supposed to blow up manages to wreck me every time before I can even get close to destroying it with my torpedoes. Damn lenghty lock-on and all that.

Finaly max lvl with diablo 3, and to my suprise addicting to saints row 3 maybe its strange what im saying but those days games has to get a deep story line realism, i dont mind playing games where having fun is more important then being deep.

After some troublesome spot I had yesterday I finished WC2 quite well, even if I took advantage of a recurring glitch in the game in the last mission, I also decided to skip the expansions for now since I was really itching to finally play... Wing Commander 3. I remember being in awe of this game when I was reading about it, watching clips of it around the time of its release. Hell, it was the biggest video game production ever made at that point. So, yeah, this is the first time I've ever played it, and it's a blast. :)

Just finished Alan Wake. Turned it off, went to the kitchen, got "jumpscared" by this motherfucker on my fridge. Shit, I've never even seen it in my home before.

At my parent's home I was on Septerra Core, but I noticed that I needed to grind for a while and I decided to take a break. So now I'm playing Defender's Quest, and it's not bad at all. Oh and I also play Dungeon Keeper1 on the side (still no idea when I'll jump into DK2, tho)

On my home I'm all over Uplink, W40K: DoW, and Street Fighter4. The thing about SF4 is that I and my 3 workmates sometimes spend the rest of our lunch break on the arcade nearby taking turns. It's fun playing like that.
But I'll probably stop soon to dedicate myself to Batman: Arkham City that I want to play since I closed Arkham Asylum two months ago.

Hahahaha I can see that happening. You remind me of how "jumpy" I was after I finished Alone in the Dark 1 for the first time.

Civilization 4 Colonization.

What a lovely game! And with Authentic Civilization mod it's even better!

and Back to the Future the game, although whenever I start playing those games I just feel like watching the movies again. I tried starting the Wallace and Gromit adventures but again the intro really made me want to watch those movies instead of play the game.

I also just finished Incredipede, it was a fun enough game but I don't think I would ever pay $15 for it; the fact that it's a flash game really lowers the value for me.

Crusader Kings 2(The Republic) and Unity of Command. "The Republic" is...ok. There are plenty of bugs that need to be fixed. Other than that I need to put a little more time into it to make for of an opinion though there are some worrying issues. Unity of Command is brilliant so far, Absolutely brilliant. It is crazy hard and has a few luck elements that can get irritating, but its crazy fun. That game makes you feel incredible when a plan comes together.

Avernum 1... which is positively old-school. It took me getting a little used to the old mechanics rather than Vogel's later games where a lot of things are done automatically with a simple click of the mouse. I also noticed there is no such thing as a quest log. You actually have to 'record' conversations yourself to keep track of those.

Playing Gabriel Knight 1 on my Nexus 7. Somehow the low res graphics are more tolerable on the tablet screen. The interface is clunky, but I'm getting used to it. Still, the sheer amount of text there is heaven.
