LEGEND OF HEROES: TRAILS IN THE SKY - I haven't enjoyed a JRPG this much in a while. Now I'm tempted to pick up the Ys series to see what the rest of Falcom's repertoire is like.

MONSTER HUNTER 4 ULTIMATE - This is how you do an action game. It's hard as nails and tasty as cake once you finally, finally find your groove.

STORY OF SEASONS - Bought this just to support XSEED/Marvelous Entertainment, only found out after the fact that it was a new Harvest Moon game with the name filed off due to copyright-holder reasons. This should be good.

ULTIMATE DOOM/DOOM II/FINAL DOOM - Playing this with a mod called Hideous Destructor. It basically turns DooM into Ghost Recon with energy weapons and hellspawn. Highly recommend it.

WASTELAND 1 - Never played it in its day but it's quite atmospheric even in this day and age.

cecil: Monument Vally 9/10 What's not to love art wise gameplay is very logical and well done

anomaly: Monument valley is absolutely beautiful. It's just a shame the levels are released so infrequently. Like one extra level plack. But they are gorgeous when they come!
I love perception puzzles and it oddly feels like it helps my art the more games I play ;)
they aren't quite the same as monument valley but I suggest Echocrome (PS3), Gateways (Win, Mac,Linux) & Portal (Consoles & PC) for great mind bending puzzles :)

Neverwinter Nights 2.
I started a game as a Lawful Neutral generalist Wizard, planning to multiclass with the Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep prestige class... because it's cool! My foster father in that other game was one, so I guess I should follow his trails! ;)
I was thinking about joining the red Wizards of Thay, too, yet I don't want to lose two schools of magic to be overpowered in other two. Besides, I get the feeling that stayong non-good will be hard.

Deadfall Adventures - average game, have some glitches and bugs, so far the game is pretty good. I really like how each puzzle is diffirent and takes a bit of thinking.
Still Far Cry 2 - 30 % is complete, respawning enemies is sometimes very annoying.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing - completed and played hunter class. Now trying arcane class.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow - Ultimate Edition- I like, but QTE is annoying
Sniper Elite V2 - just started and finished tutorial.

cecil: I like "art" games but the unfinished swan is not the best by any means. If you haven't played journey then try that it is awesome if you can get past the lack of "gameplay"
I won't lie and say that i enjoy those type of games but this one is just a drag, like i said, the game is really slow, i think i would be able to endure it a little bit more if the character at least moved 2x faster, besides, at least Journey is beautiful but this one is just bland (thanks to the game mechanics). I will play Journey whenever that hits ps+...

anomaly: Heh, I loved the stealth part of TOB. Of course, that is not what one buys a Wolfenstein game for, and the combat once you get guns is just as good as the The New Order. Just got to the beginning of Chapter 2. Would be going faster, but I'm in the middle of playing TOB, Dragon Age 2 and Shadow Warrior 2013, so time is being parcelled out!
The problem is that it takes too long and it get repetitive (especially the "shut down the enemy" animation), as for the rest of the game (i'm on chapter 6 i think) is that everything looked all the same, half way into the game you will go to a new area (2nd part of the game) where at least has more colours than black/grey.

Edit: I decided to finish the game.

Just started up Dust: An Elysian Tail. Played about an hour or so. Absolutely gorgeous looking! Liking the new powers I learn on the way. Anyways, just getting started, but I like it a lot.
After having no GPU in my new computer for four month and only playing games like Pharaoh + Cleopatra, Sacred Gold, Lords of Midnight, Minecraft and so on, I built my old HD4870 in and decided to give TES: Oblivion a new try. With OOO 1.35a and DarNIefied UI 1.32 I am going to have some fun with Oblivion - even if I have to mod it to hell and back!
I'm continuing the NWN2 main campaign.
I'm finding the game to be much better than I remembered; when I played it ages ago on a friend's PC, it didn't make a really good imrpession to me, somehow. Maybe the part I played was one of the expansion packs?

Right now I can praise the writing concerning the companions, and everything else seems to flow much better than the first NWN... yet the party AI is dumb. Very dumb. So much, in fact, that I often have to turn it off for during combat to avoid fighters to target distant enemies leaving the mages without support, and to stop my spellcasters to immediatley deplete all their magic arsenal.
Aside from this, I'm really enjoying it.

Btw: does anyone know how much speech checks are useful in Mask of the Betrayer?
Right now I'm increasing my Wizard/Scholar of Candlekeep Diplomacy skill, yet he is still far from good in the speechcraft sphere.
Just flashed through witcher 1, now starting witcher 2. I want to import an ultra perfect saved game from previous run. Still, i am awaiting feedback, which items carry over on 3, from 2. If the dark set does not, i am screwed, doggone it!
Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
Getting into the game more now, though I'm not to much a fan of hero units..

Total Annihilation DEMO
I'm so going to buy this game when it comes on sale, I love it. (I hope there's a easier way of selecting group units though)

Mount & Blade: Warband & MODS
Most of the mods aren't working correctly with the linux version so far :(

Capitalism Plus
Kinda getting bored of the game, idk :\

Divine Divinity
Having problems playing it in wine, may try different settings (playonlinux) later.
Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition. I played the original but it has been a while so most of it still feels very fresh. And the EE feature of showing the total sum of points when rolling and re-rolling your stats has made me spend about two hours just doing that for my party. It's weirdly addictive.

Started playing The Guild's tutorial and I can already tell it's all pretty in-depths and elaborate.
Elminage Gothic. I am taking my time with it.

Agarest War Zero. Very cool game, but it features a very spiteful AI. Enemies like to 1-hit kill your squishy characters and then run away from you all over the field.

Final Fantasy XII (replaying). Imo, the best Final Fantasy in the series.

In first chapter of MotB where I am for now, I have already used twice the diplomacy skill to manage some situations, so I would invest in it. Great game.

Thanks! :)
I hope my Wizard/Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep can increase the skill enough, though.
I had to leave CHA low to grant him decent stats (8 str, 14 dex, 14 con, 18 int, 10 wis, 10 cha), so now I have no bonuses...
I often hear comparisons between MotB and Planescape: Torment. If they are similar in how interactions play, as well, there is no way you could achieve the best results without an absolute speechcraft genius!
Metrocide

The game requires a TON of patience, you're a hitman and you need do some contracts so that you have money to get out of town (and buy new items), you go to a shaddy guy and select a contract, now what? Well, it will be showned in the radar and you have to get to him and kill him, simple no? The problem is that you want to do it quietly so that you don't get problems with the cops and get that extra cash and that won't be simple task because you need to avoid witnesses, vigilantes and gang members that will shoot you if they see you with a gun, vigilance cameras and the police drones... It would be a bit easier if you had something to distract your target but no, he will randomly walk around town and it will never go to those back alleys where it would be much easier.

So you need patience, you will have to follow him for a long time until he goes to a place where you're free to kill him without consequences and the problem is that it's random, it can take 1m or 5m, who knows... The worst part is that you start with a shitty laser weapon that needs to be charged, there are sometimes where you have everything ready but you screw up with the weapon, either takes too long or you missed the shot.
Fortunately if you complete 3 or 4 missions you unlock the shotgun (but you still need to buy it, you will always start with the shitty laser pistol, but hey, complete 2 contracts and you have enough cash for one), now the problem is that it does alot of noise but hey, there's no visual indication of where the witnesses can see you killing or listen to the sound of your weapon so you will end up killing everytime whenever they're really far away from you.

If you're caught then just run away and wait a bit for things to calm down, unless there's a police drone/vehicle in the area, if so then you're screwed. For now it's doable but i can see the game getting really hard with the timmed missions (and i didn't noticed a timmer so i think you just need to be fast), thanks to the shitty system of your target randomly walking around you will pressured to kill him whenever you get the chance, even with witnesses near by.

There's no sound options so i had to use the windows sound controller, there's no music so i had to put it playing on the background to give a bit of imersion (noir deco fits the profile) and the game looks a bit basic but hey, it's a cheap indie game so that's ok (?).

Dunno, in the end i'm glad that i bought it cheap on a bundle, the promise looked interesting but i'm disappointed, again, it's one of those games where with a better budget and more time in development would probably make a good game of that concept, as it is, it's just ok (if you have patience).
