About 200 games from my Steam I have installed and run / play a hour or two, to get their trading cards.. For now, pleasant surprises are Call of Juarez, and Bleed.
Just played a couple of hours of Skyrim, quit when I got annoyed by a game mechanic railroading me.

Earlier I played GEARCRACK Arena. It's a cool game but it would be a lot better if your character was bigger/easier to see, as it is it's way too easy to lose sight of your character which of course leads to losing.
Well, it had been months since I touched GTA V and figured I was in the mood to give it another go. I hooked it up online figuring I had missed out on some updates, so I installed those and then sat and watched the "loading story mode" screen... and watched... and watched. That's about as much as I got out of it. You'd think that after being out all this time, they could implement updates that don't f**k up the game. So, I completely uninstalled everything, and now I'm reinstalling the game. Guess I'll stay away from the stupid updates (not that they ever did much for single player anyway).
Replaying Chakan: The Forever Man on the Sega Genesis.

This probably means I'm a masochist or something but it's got its cool points.
vf 5 on the ps 3
Heroes of Might & Magic 3, Age of Wonders - Shadow Magic, Expeditions Conquistador and Eador - Genesis, all of which I bought on GOG in the sale. My first purchases here.
I'm currently playing GTA V, DC Universe Online, Civilization V, and DOTA 2.
Driver: Parallel Lines, Fahrenheit, Ghost Master and Resonance... not necessarily in that order. =p
Also have Anachronox on hold for at least 2 months.
I'm having quite a good time with Resident Evil 6 right now that I acquired during the Steam sale. I'm not married to what the franchise was or some think it should be, so I'm all fine and dandy the way things are. Take that, fanboys! =P I enjoyed the original trilogy, but I'm having just as much fun if not more so with the newer games, although I shant miss RE5's awkward co-op system. RE6 is so much more enjoyable/playable in single-player than its predecessor. Anyway, I'm still on the first chapter with Leon and Helena, so looks like lengthwise I have quite a lot more to look forward to. It also runs beautifully with everything on high, so I'm pretty happy.
Serious Sam: the Second Encounter. Brutally difficult, brutally silly, brutally fun! I loved the first, and this one promise to be more of the same (perfectly fine for me). I NEVER saw such a large amount of enemies in any other game, and if you play it in single player it becomes a lot more strategic than you could imagine. It has that run'n'gun feeling every old-school FPS fan adores (no cover, all men!), but it's far from being just a mindless bullet mess!
I think Sam is the true heir of Duke Nukem: try it out if you love first person shooters!
(BTW: if you already played the two encounters but you strive for more, try the new Shadow Warrior. You will not regret it.)
saints row 2 and lego lord of the rings
whiel im waiting for street fighter vs tekken to finish downloading

Playing Torchlight II right now. I always seem to go back to the action RPG's, definitely my favorite genre.

I started Torchlight 1 a while ago, and while these games suck me in as long as I play them, I have to force myself to continue the next day. I don't know - it just feels "empty and in vain" since there is no deeper meaning other than killing, looting und leveling up. I always get the feeling like eating to much junk food - addictive in the beginning, but kind of sick of it afterwards. I had more perseverance with Divine Divinity that plays ARPG-like but has a more fleshed out background.

I don't want to spoil your fun, I'm just curious what IS the fun for you in these games. I always try to "like" the games I play as much as I can - overlooking flaws, concentrating on the good aspects and the love the designers and developers put into them. I don't see why I should keep myself from savoring the experience by nitpicking on the annoyances and weaknesses that even the best games have.
Mount and Blade again, all progress in any other games completely halted.

I second that.
