Neverwinter Nights 2 - Playing the official campaign, I finished the prologue. So far so good.

Might and Magic 3 - Exploring outside of the town. Fun to play.
Since I've been unable to play Icewind Dale (at the end of Heart of Winter expansion, after which still Chapter 6 in the main game) for a couple of days on my older laptop, I've played a bit of Saints Row 2. I have the Gentlemen Mod installed, in order to fix the speed bug.

Not much to say about the game at this point, except that I am completely lost. Who is that guy? Why am I doing this mission for him? I barely remember how the game even started, I think I escaped some prison probably. It says now I have 3% of the game completed, whee!

Not that interested in the game, I just finished some mission where I was supposed to shoot rival gang members and some hobos in a deserted subway station, and there were these small huts which I was unsure what I was supposed to do with them. After hitting them with a baseball bat and shooting them for like million times, they finally broke down, and mission accomplished.

I overall find the game quite confusing, I am constantly bombarded with different options like about your wardrobe etc. I am unsure is the wardrobe needed anyway, I tried my best to avoid using it in also GTA San Andreas, albeit you did have to change to a suit to attract certain female relevant to main story.

I just wish these GTA games had less stupid shit like that. Maybe I should play Mafia instead, maybe it has less fluff.

Anyway, back to Icewind Dale, I like it more.

I finished Plants vs Zombies yesterday the second time, this time on Android. Earlier playthrough was on PC. I must admit I like the game, even if it is quite simple overall.

I had forgotten there is also a sequel, and it is "free-2-play". I guess we know what that means (=micro-transactions), but I decided to download and install Plants vs Zombies 2 on my Android tablet anyway. I played several levels today, so far so good, but let's see if it at some point comes so hard that it is near impossible to proceed without buying something, or how it tried to punish me later for not paying anything.

At least it is constantly trying to push the pay extras here and there, like buying some extra plant for a buck or two, or buy lots of in-game credits with real money. Let's see if it is humanly possible to finish the game for free, maybe many have done that already. I would be willing to pay around $5-10 for the game, if I knew it was the full game with all the levels and goodies, and not trying to lure me to to spend $100 on it with tiny $1-3 micro-transactions all the time. Or is there a full pay version of it too? I didn't remember to check.

I presume there isn't a PC version coming out, considering there are some "powerups" which seem to require touch controls, like making pinch-moves with two fingers to enemies, or swipes etc.?

In the meantime, my gf keeps playing Candy Crush Saga on the same tablet, and telling all the time how she hates the game because it is now so difficult, yet she keeps playing it. I think she has tried one level now for like 50 times, and after a few deaths the game always punishes her with a waiting period (from several minutes to much longer, I think), which you naturally could skip by paying real money.

I guess the free-to-play nature of CCS shows in that it seems considerably harder Bejeweled-clone than the earlier Bejeweled-clones that were not free to play with in-game micro-transactions. It is not in the interests of CCS to be so easy that people can proceed easily in it without paying.

Well lets see:

Skyrim- Got this one for christmas, and loving every minute of it. The atmosphere is good, and there is a large variety of weapons and Armour. My only issue is that it seems a little easy compared to Morrowind, but I'm not gonna complain

Pokemon Emerald- I once again started another new game in this, this time going with a Treecko called Pajamas.

Carmageddon 1- I like playing this game when I'm bored, or stressed out. Its great fun and probably one of my favorite PC racing games ever, next to POD.
Other than the hundreds of games I've started but not finished, at the moment, nothing! I finished Fallout 1 last night and am now setting up ToEE to try.
I finally bought Starbound last night and have already put in around 7 or so hours! It's amazing! As well I'm playing a bit of Torchlight 2 because that's a good game to lol.
Dishonored (GOTY), which I’ve picked up during a Christmas special and am having a blast with! I’m truly impressed by the game.
Just finished the US, French and British campaigns in Ace Patrol. All in one, a pleasant little game to spend 30 minutes, 25 minutes there.

Currently busy with Shadowrun Returns
Thief - The Dark Mod

GastonArg: Xenoblade chronicles for the wii so far seems good
I wanted that game very badly, but on Amazon a used copy goes for a lot, or it did yesterday when I checked, anyway...

Currently playing: Far Cry 3, I Am Alive (I hear it's relatively short and am trying to finish some of my shorter games in my backlog), and lotro as well as dabbling in Guild Wars 2.

I know, I know. I swore off Lotro. I'm actually digging it since the recent update which retooled all the classes.

At the moment, I'm concentrating on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

I'll probably move back over to Fallout: New Vegas before long to make some progress on that.

At hanging over it all is my 250+ game of Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim that I've yet to finish.
Currently playing Castle of the Winds (part 2) from the 1990s. I get the itch to play it every few years, and ever since Rick Saada deemed it freeware, I can do just that. :-)

Very good game so far, except for two things, you cant control the volume of the music and it is very loud and I hate it -.- and the voice acting is ubber atrocious and on top of that they are British which in games sucks and the subtitles are trash, for example one characters says " let's go that way" and the subs are "let's go" or "go" f***ing hate it, cant use the Japanese voices just for that...
I am playing tug of war with the cyclops. :)

High five! I replay them every few years too! Hard to say what's so cool about them but they are bloody addictive! ;)
