Last movie i have watched, is "THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE" 1 and 2. Not that spectacular, but it had been a nice find, thanks to people here suggesting them.

TV series? I have dumped the damned thing, ever since internet was out for the masses...

Theater? Ever since i broke up with the latest (legit) GF i had (shortly before 2012 ended), i don't frequent theaters anymore.
Right now I am going through the latest season of Grimm, then I am going to start on the TV show Constantine.
I just watched a good 2011 PBS 3 episode series on the American Prohibition. I recommend it to any 20th century history buff.
Strange Blood.

Just watched this on Netflix (Canada). It's basically a "scientific" Vampire origin story in modern time. Because "reasons (aka minor spoiler)" , a scientist create a way to cure all diseases, the side effects are thirst for blood and aversion to sunlight (if there was an explanation I missed it).

The script is something I could have written in high school on a bad day, the main actor was horrible, the main actress managed to deliver despite the horrible script, she's why I stayed till the end. The "creature" looked better than some AAA creatures I've seem, its creator has a bright future.

Recommendation: Don't waste your time, watch Sharknado instead if you haven't seen it.
American Sniper. If I had known it was 70% kickass warfilm I would have watched it much sooner. Reminded me a bit of Zero Dark Thirty, it didn't quite get to that level though.
We just finished Deep Space Nine. It was my partner's first time seeing the series. Quite the awesome ride! She wanted to start it back over right away.
I just finished watching "Flight World War 2" by "The Asylum". The premise is that a modern commercial aircraft finds itself over France in 1940 after going through a strange storm. And that's not the most unbelievable part of the story.

Despite its flaws it was a nice suspenseful movie. I gave it 3 stars out of 5 on Netflix. It had some of the familiar tropes of the kind of story (time travel via a storm, should efforts me made to change history?) but it did surprise me on one point but then left me hanging at the end.

Other than that I just started the series "House of Lies" and I think it's brilliant. I do wish they'd spent less time on the home life of the main character but on the other hand it would be a different show if they did.

Another series I just started is Chuck, which is like a spy version of "The Computer wear tennis shoes" as a TV series. I am undecided on its merits but I'm willing to give it a chance by watching more episodes.

I'm on the 9th Series of the British police drama "Midsomer Murders". It's about a police detective and his subaltern solving murders in the various Midsomer villages (I don't know if Midsomer is a real place). I recommend it to everyone who likes whodunit stories.
One of the worst... er, best episodes ever. I like it very much.

justanoldgamer: What are you watching?
the rain pouring outside
We recently started re-watching the first 3 seasons of Longmire. We're almost done with season 2 and are looking forward to the newly released season 4. I hope it stays awesome. The 3rd season ended SO well and it is one of those rare shows that has gotten better and better as it has gone on (which is saying a lot because is started out quite strongly.) Highly recommended!
I just watched two PBS documentaries:

1- American Experience's "The Poisoner Handbook".
An excellent documentary (as far as I can tell) on the first uses of science/autopsies in solving crimes in the U.S,A, and on the politic of morality.

2- Nova's "First Air War"
A good documentary on the evolution of war planes during the first World War. I learned stuff I did not know but this is not a subject that can be explored satisfactorily in less than an hour. The team that build exact replica of WW1 airplanes deserve their own series.

I also just watch the 2013 Evil Dead remake. I liked it better than the original despite a few minor issues:
The cabin/shack looked a lot worst than it should have,
The nail gun that looks and sound like a pneumatic nail gun without being attached to a compressor/compressed air.
Electricity: A place like that would not have electricity. I do not remember the original cabin in the wood of the original ED movie having electricity but if it did then it did not make sense back then either.
Running Water: See above.

All the above watched on Netflix Canada.
We just watched "Space Camp" !!! I hadn't seen it in a long long long time and it was the first time my partner had ever seen it. SO great!
So far today...
Cooties- pretty good but not to be taken seriously its more of a flick when there is nothing to watch.
Containment- Solid acting, meh ending, meh response from the government. More of a human drama and how they turn on each other.
The Hive- Just started watching it......
The Hive- Interesting idea for a virus, okay acting, liked the effects and makeup, meh for the storyline about love!

Up Next-
Contracted: girl has a one night stand and gets super sick.... is it herpes or the zombie virus?
What We Become: swedish film, family is stuck in a house while the outbreak is happening. having problems locating this film online.
