binge watching The Billions for the past couple o days, the bobby axelrod character really interesting compare with gordon gecko. lots of intrigue over this hedge fund titan versus the government.
I have started watching Lupin the Third Part 1.

It's charmingly weird, in that very 1970s way.
HBK vs Bret Hart, Survivor Series 1997.
Finished watching Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Fun movie though I've heard Tom Cruise doesn't fit the book character accurately.

tinyE: Does he ever? :P

Seriously, Valkyrie. Denzel Washington would have made a more convincing SS Officer.
True enough! I guess it works though because people will see a movie if it has Cruise's name.

I just watched the movie Looper on Netflix which I thought I would like but did not. I love science fiction but that mostly apply to written sci-fi, not movie sc-fi. But still I will accept a lot from movie sci-fi but this film just went over the edge in some parts while sticking to its basic premises in most of it.

The most important SF aspect of the plot is time travel within this century, that I can accept as an important plot device even if very improbable, but it introduce another totally unnecessary "futuristic" plot device to help end the movie. I do not want to spoil this movie for peoples who want to see it, but I will say that his secondary plot device is something that I have accepted and loved in many SF stories, written or acted.

On the plus side it does not show the near, future i.e. within the 21st century, as being totally different from now as many SF movies and TV shows of the 20th century did. On the minus side it looks as there were 2 or 3 competing ideas of what the future would look like.

If you want to see it then I recommend you do not spend any money to rent it or buy it, just wait for it to show up on whatever service you subscribe to.

MinhazAbid: I just finish watching "The Marine 5 Battleground" few hour ago.
It's really a good movie to watch. One of my cousins suggested me to watch this movie as it is related to the battleground and war. I am a game enthusiastic person. I like to watch a movie related to the game particularly related to the piece of ground where the battle can be fought. You can also buy player unknown battlegrounds to watch a number of series from the Instant Gaming site in order to enjoy the other series related to the unknown related.
Currently watching The Last Kingdom. Highly underrated IMO, especially for it's soundtrack and how it's not like other BBC shows.... If you know what I mean.

I just watched the movie "Terminal" with Margot Robbie and Simon Pegg, the overall plot is not that great but the way it was filmed and edited is excellent. It has element of film noir, adventure game, and light cyberpunk that make the whole thing a delight to watch.

I really hope Simon Pegg get/got some type of acting nomination for his role. Margot Robbie was okay but was better in Suicide Squad (I loved that movie, bite me) and Mike Myers should stick to comedies.

Overall I recommend it but I do not get why it has a TV-MA rating,ISome Buffy The Vampire Slayer (one of my favourite tv show of all time) episodes had more mature content..
Restrepo (2010)

Excellent doc following battle company in their tour of the Korangal Valley in Afghanistan.
Supernatural new season. I tried watching new Dr. who, but the writing is not appealing to me.
Just finished watching "Bright" with Will Smith and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

1. I am prejudiced against any movie staring Scientology PR actors as I can't help but trying to analyze every thing in them against that cult.

2, It might be because of 1 but I perceived almost every good guy but Will Smith as being written as simpleminded.

3. Okay, there is no 3

I liked the ending, kind of. The good guys won a battle but not the more complex war alluded to in the movie. It's not unlike Star Wars in that.

In conclusion, I do not regret watching it.
