nrgyzerbenny: I find it clunky, but very useful for installing my games library. Buying stuff with the client can be clunky, and I still prefer buying games in my browser. What are your opinions on it? What did they do right? What did they do wrong?
It lacks features and is still to unreliable. I'll wait until it's out of beta and then give it another try. Not automatic updating by default is pain in the ass. There were reports about destroyed installations under certain circumstances, about uncompressed transfer over the network, about dysfunctional achievements, slow responses. I'm not sure they all still exists, but at least last time I tried to use it as a downloader it was more difficult than using the website directly.
So, currently it is not much of advantage.
