PookaMustard: And killing off one of the most beloved in the franchise is not a spoiler now?
Anyways, I don't care if its just as so. It is still good. I came in expecting a Star Wars movie, I got an excellent Star Wars movie. I still stand upon my say that its the best since The Empire Strikes Back. But hey, its... only the first of the three new ones.
Notice that in your lazily-done summary thing, there is no mention of Finn...
As much as a would happily take credit for it, I received it via email. I believe it's floating around cyberspace turning up here and there. Anyways, lighten up it's just a poorly crafted rip off of Star Wars ANH with a bit of Empire thrown in directed by
JJ Abrahams.
tinyE: Fair enough, but I still loved it and I still say, best one since Empire. :P
And don't forget, it was Shakespeare who said there were only six plots.
Lol yeah and they've already used up all six. But look, as a kind of disclaimer, as far as the originals go (4,5+6)great childhood memories and I still enjoy them and 1-3 aren't all
that bad really - I think for a lot of people that had more to do with expectations.
mobutu: I can't believe they got away so easily, with a simple cut and paste of the first(4 lol) movie.
that gg(or is it jj? whatever) director fooled them all and look at the praise he's getting now, lol
if that copy paste is true then the amount of brainwash is immense
I admit I liked sw when I was a little kid but then I grewup i moved over. Now, when I see something sw-related I laugh my ass of thinking how this dumb mediocre kiddie movie has so many adult "fans".
it's hilarious I tell ya :) space balls rules btw
JJ Abrahams directed it. This guy's a real
hollywood hack - he's a total twat! (Do a search on some quotes from him, he really is an a***hole.) IMO he botched the Star Trek reboot too. He makes
Jerry Brookheimer look like Ingmar Bergman. As far those who like or don't like it, the best thing that can be said about this artless ripoff is it's kind of sorting out the men and women from the boys and girls.
Hey hey! Just kidding kids! It's ok to enjoy PC Disneyfied remakes masquerading as sequels of classic films.
Lol
! Yeah, at times this empty farcical "product" was just a few notches removed from <i>Mel Brooks</i>' [url=http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2774972928/tt0094012?ref_=tt_ov_i]Spaceballs. May the Schwartz be with you! X-D
