Some said that it's still broken.
But isn't there even a mod that fixes it?

I didn't find anything. There is a beta patch for Steam version, but it seems GOG version lacks that patch.

At -90% I would get it if I didn't already have it. Unless you are sensitive to framerate / vsync issues, there seem to be some complaints in that area. I didn't notice anything wrong with graphics myself, but... I am still used to times when occasional slowdown to 5fps in heavily modded Morrowind was considered playable.

It also probably helps if you didn't play the original edition. I only played crowfather level in original, rest of the game as deathinitive, and I found it pretty good looking. People complaining about bland colors may be just case of "all remakes inevitably generate some hostility".

I gave in the temptation and scored Darksiders I and II: Deathfinitive Edition. I can only hope the developers are willing to fix the controller prompt problem I've been hearing about in the forums.

Darksiders seems to have rather complex key combos for movement and fight. Do I need to learn these complex combos or is it possible to play through the game with simple commands?

Unfortunately I haven't found a demo to try it out, only several dead links. Is there a demo available for Darksiders (on PC)?

omega64: Considering it's been about half a year since the last patch I kinda doubt that.
They're still working on the game as of April, so there is a chance.
