Make some time for timeless classics: 60% off gems like the Ultima series, Dungeon Keeper Gold, and Jade Empire, or 85% off the whole package!

If you've been a gamer for more than one month, chances are you've already crossed paths with Electronic Arts by now. It's no coincidence, since their catalog is choke-full of (still unsurpassed) classics from any genre imaginable: Looking for a deep strategic experience? A point'n'click adventure that fans still hold dear to this day? Epic RPGs revered by enthusiasts for their groundbreaking mechanics and impeccable execution? They're all here - pick the ones you missed for -60% or grab the entire selection for an unbeatable -85%!

Trailblazing, ambitious, hardcore: there are plenty of reasons why the Ultima games are still considered to be among the few landmark RPGs that withstood the test of time, thanks to their staggering attention to detail, innovative mechanics, and immersive world.

Can one of the best asian-themed action/RPGs of all time come from a western developer? Sure can, if it's Bioware we're talking about. Their Jade Empire won everyone over with its exotic locales, enchanting mysticism, intriguing character development, and fast-paced combat.

Now, how many fairytales let you play as the villain? And that's only one of the reasons why the often whimsical, occasionally twisted, and consistently magical Kyrandia series is still remembered fondly by point'n'click lovers everywhere.

Take a glance at the Electronic Arts collection and you'll immediately spot at least four classics. Take another and they're now a dozen! So go ahead and pick the ones you prefer for 60% off: Syndicate Plus, Theme Hospital, Crusader: No Remorse, Nox, or any of the others. Grab them all at once and it's 85% off!
The promo will last until October 11, 3:59 AM UTC.

seppelfred: No, I don't. It's totally legal to sell all those games to adults in germany (except for the few with svastikas in it). I'm an adult, so GOG wouldn't get in trouble legally.
Of course there are much worse things in the world but as a gamer I'm sorry for you guys in Germany where you do have this strong censorship for games and music and such. They even banned an Italian band because the singer is called Stefano Silvestri (SS in short). It's a laugh, fight against it!

skeletonbow: 18) Keaning the Weekend Away Promo!
- Jack Keane 1& 2 on sale 75%+ off
- Every other game in the catalogue that contains all of the letters k, e, a, n, e (in any order) are on sale as well. (Easily determined by searching the catalogue titles with a search engine that supports regular-expressions, ie: Not GOG's search enigne. Not sure if MaGog supports regex or not.)
- Promo is advertised as having 10,000 copies of Jack Keane that must be sold, with a countdown counter or some other funny thing.
- In order to get any games on sale for the best discount you don't have to buy all of them, but you do have to either own both Jack Keane games, or buy the ones you don't own in your purchase in order to get the full discount on other games.

Seriously GOG, if you do this I will shit bricks. I am pretty sure that I'm not the only one either. :oP
This, but at 85% off. Or 90% !!!

tfishell: (..) GOG really needs a promo to celebrate those who have supported them over the years (...)

Vythonaut: Dividing the community into "longtime supporters"/"old" vs "new users"/"newbies" doesn't sound like a good idea to me. From a business point of view, shouldn't an enterprise/company strive to make every customer feel unique?
I suppose. (I don't have the energy to discuss it now but I did want to at least reply. ;)

Realistically though, they're likelier to do it for the Witcher games instead, seeing as they directly profit from sales of them.

Vythonaut: For a more beautiful GOG shelf, buy:

• Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack
• Ultima VII The Complete Edition
• Ultima Underworld 1 & 2

ps. and play them too, mkay? ;)
Bought the latter two just moments ago. Had the first from an earlier sale. :)

Even if GOG had an age verification system, you would still miss some games as you say. Your country's laws is the root of evil, although i'm not sure if this will change anytime soon/at all. Having said that, i hope you didn't misinterpret my previous comment; i was just joking but i really feel sorry about the situation.

Klumpen0815: Take a close look at those links:
EA weekend promo
EA games on GOG

Notice something?
No, I don't mean the total lack of the games in the promo that haven't been discounted to hell and back.

There isn't a single Linux port/package.
That's EA for you.
I guess Linux users are named "dirty socialists" inside this mother of all hardcore capitalist companies.

Well deserved, EA.

sherringon456: There aren't any linux games because linux gamers like you are unfortunately in the tiny minority. It's not some kind of Right-Wing corporate conspiracy to keep Windows on top. Simply, if there isn't enough demand for a linux port of a game, there won't be one.
Actually I've encountered plenty of Linux gamers, or people that would like to be. The number one thing hampering Linux gaming is compatibility/availability.

Do you have a source for this? Because I pretty much doubt it. I'm from Germany and I've never heard about artists being banned, because of their names. Otherwise every movie with Sylvester Stallone would be banned too.

PaterAlf: Sylvester Stallone
(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)

Klumpen0815: A DRM-free shop probably has more users of an DRM-free OS than you might think, but it doesn't matter, what I wanted to hint at was, that every one of the last few dozen promos I remember had some Linux ports in it (which you might not have noticed because you probably don't care) while everything marked as "owned by EA" categorically hasn't, resulting in the same effect on an EA promo of course. A promo without a single Linux port is a rarity these days, believe it or not. Look out for the little penguin icon in the future and you might get what I mean.
Ok I get what you mean now. Hopefully there is enough demand for EA games on linux eventually.

I have been a huge fan in the 90s so I'm the source! For everything else there is Google and some old number of the German edition of Metal Hammer.
Maybe you're too young or not into heavy metal. Both of these things are ok.
In Germany they are known as In Death of Steve Sylvester from the first album title because he could not abbreviate his name in the moniker.
This is an interview in German.

The point here is that censorship laws do nothing to stop racism, they just block art that sometimes is not even related to nazism. Stallone does not have his name for short on the billboards. "SS in Rocky". "SS in Rambo" (what are those German soldiers from WWII doing in the USA in the 80s?).

Thank you for the link. I've never heard of this band and the case (which is quite interesting). I'm definitely not too young, but indeed not really into heavy metal.

Maighstir: American McGee's? That'd probably be a full-price purchase from me.

igrok: No love for Desert Strike?
Desert, Jungle, Urban and Nuclear. Yes, please!

skeletonbow: Pretty much all of the Wadjet games are like this, and many other PNC games.
Really? What is PNC?
