Make some time for timeless classics: 60% off gems like the Ultima series, Dungeon Keeper Gold, and Jade Empire, or 85% off the whole package!

If you've been a gamer for more than one month, chances are you've already crossed paths with Electronic Arts by now. It's no coincidence, since their catalog is choke-full of (still unsurpassed) classics from any genre imaginable: Looking for a deep strategic experience? A point'n'click adventure that fans still hold dear to this day? Epic RPGs revered by enthusiasts for their groundbreaking mechanics and impeccable execution? They're all here - pick the ones you missed for -60% or grab the entire selection for an unbeatable -85%!

Trailblazing, ambitious, hardcore: there are plenty of reasons why the Ultima games are still considered to be among the few landmark RPGs that withstood the test of time, thanks to their staggering attention to detail, innovative mechanics, and immersive world.

Can one of the best asian-themed action/RPGs of all time come from a western developer? Sure can, if it's Bioware we're talking about. Their Jade Empire won everyone over with its exotic locales, enchanting mysticism, intriguing character development, and fast-paced combat.

Now, how many fairytales let you play as the villain? And that's only one of the reasons why the often whimsical, occasionally twisted, and consistently magical Kyrandia series is still remembered fondly by point'n'click lovers everywhere.

Take a glance at the Electronic Arts collection and you'll immediately spot at least four classics. Take another and they're now a dozen! So go ahead and pick the ones you prefer for 60% off: Syndicate Plus, Theme Hospital, Crusader: No Remorse, Nox, or any of the others. Grab them all at once and it's 85% off!
The promo will last until October 11, 3:59 AM UTC.

Yeah, and it's been a long time since I last listened to The barenaked Ladies, maybe I should go for a nostalgia binge. :)

I guess the rest of you are refering to the archaic past tense of bear. :p

my external wishlist:

(I own them at gamersgate but rather want them here cause they are down alot and very slow downloading)

Art of Murder - Cards of Destiny (drm free )
Art of Murder - FBI Confidential (drm free )
Art of Murder - Hunt for the Puppeteer (drm free )
Chicago 1930 (drm free )
Last Half of Darkness - Society of the Serpent Moon (drm free )
Sinking Island (Action, Adventure, Point-and-Click (drm free )
The Jolly Gang's Misadventures in Africa (drm free)
Tony Tough and the Night of the Roasted Moths (drm free)
Reversion Double Pack - Reversion (drm free)

If GamersGate can have them why cant GoG, unless the publishers of the games dont want it.

steam has

the 4 secret files + Lost Horizon 1 and 2 at 39.95 euros, now that is a very nice price
i would buy those games if they were on gog for that list price

for users that own some they have a collection allowing to get what they dont have yet:
which is on sale now and then

Lost Chronicles of Zerzura

If gog could get these all here then the good old games collection could get some new old games, which i like far better then 99% of the latets new releases (90% 3d and to high requirements)

Hrm, lets see... Ok... when you see "Electronic Arts" it's generally an indication that it's going to be 1980s and 1990s games as they stopped calling themselves that and started calling themselves EA quite a while ago IIRC. So le'see here now...

Ah yes...

- 24 games I already own on GOG
- 8 games previously given away as freebies on Origin

Of the 11 games left...
- 3 are games I own on Origin from the 8 freebies above leaving 8
- 6 are rather ancient games that aren't particularly of personal interest and seem overpriced, leaving 2
- 1 is old but not with spider webs on it, and also not up my alley, leaving 1
- 1 is interesting but also overpriced for the age of the game and my desire to own it.

Woohoo! The Back to School sale totally got me, but I'm immune for another week! My wallet is saved by EA this weekend! There shall be much rejoicing and productivity! :oP

Fairfox: These weekend promo sales need to be mixed up a bit.
Any suggestions?
I bought the Ultima Underworld games. Apart from these I already have the ones of interest.

Personal favourites from the selection:
- Starflight
- the Crusader games
- the Syndicate games
- Alpha Centauri
- Privateer 2

I did not like the Magic Carpet games, I thought the controls were too irritating, at least with mouse & keyboard.

I'm sort of curious of the early Ultima games, I have only played Ultima 7 & 8.
