Which games are keeping you company this weekend?

It's a bit unfair to other games that right now No Man's Sky is dominating all the online and watercooler discussions, isn't it? But there's so much stuff to talk about in there! While we're on the subject, though, what's your favorite space-themed game ever? Is it No Man's Sky? A roguelike? Perhaps a 4X strategy. Or a simulator. Whatever it is, let's talk about it!

How does your gaming weekend look, by the way? Go on, share your Weekend Playlist with us. It can include single-player games, multiplayer games, console exclusives, anything - we are not judging. In fact, we are sharing too!

Looking for some additional inspiration? The GOG.com releases of the week might help:

- You can design and ride your own Bounty Train through the unforgiving Old West.
- You can expand your Ashes of the Singularity tactics in the new maps included in the Oblivion DLC.
- You can go back to your RTS roots and let the four alien races duke it out in War Wind and War Wind II.
- You can show the Olympian gods who's boss by stomping on their arrogant heads with your angry Okhlos.
- You can venture into the heavy-metal lands of legend and shred some demons in the re-launched Slain: Back From Hell.

So, GOGasaurs, what are you playing this weekend?
I'm currently playing X-wing

Just finished Tour of Duty 3 by launching Jar Jar Binks into the Death Star's exhaust port :)
NMS and some SWTOR. I only had one day off from work last month, need to catch up. :D
Wing Commander was it for me too. I obsessed over those games. Death to the Kilrathi!! ;)
No man's Sky for now i am exploring freak not yet left second planet after 13 hours. Still not yet have the feeling its a space game.
Thanks to my good friend IAmSinistar I will play Slain, too! :)
I plan on playing some Metro 2033 Redux this weekend.

Don't really have any space themed games that i'm going to play, at least this weekend anyway.
I'm all GOG this weekend: War Wind, baby! :)

Favorite space game? Tough one. Could be Pax Imperia, could be Salamander, could be Cybernator! ;)

I'm not sure what I'll play...I just started a run on Privateer, so I might play a mission or two at that for a while. I also started playing Super Time Force but I've been really tired the past couple of days and the mechanics just sort of gave me a headache. The game seems cool and I'm sure I'll get it eventually but I'm going to need all my faculties sharp for it.

I'm also feeling keen on trying Anachronox again. I never finished it because my previous run was aborted by my computer dying.
I'll be flying around...just not in space (alright, I mean, I take up space...not outer space, you know what I mean) in Dragon Commander. It has been in the backlog for some time and now is as good a time as any to try it out.

I'm not sure what my favorite space game would be, but one that comes to mind that I have very fond memories of is Freelancer...sunk a significant portion of my college days into that one.
After finally having completed the main Story and first expansion of Witcher 3 I still have some treasures and question marks to hunt as well as to play the second expansion. Favorite space themed game would be Mass Effect 1-3 for me.
My brain is saying I should play something Sid Meyer this weekend - After Earth, Alpha Centarui, or one of the Civs, perhaps. Or maybe one of the city builders. I loved Planetbase for a few weeks, but tired of it - so I want "the same but different" style game.

I "should" go back to PoC, but got distracted for enough weeks that eagerness level is lower.

And Rebel Galaxy is calling me back, whispering in the back of my mind... :)
Wizardry 1; I own the Wizardry Archives legally, but I'm actually playing the SNES version (released in Japan but including an English translation, cleaned up by scanlating site Aeon Genesis). This feels nostalgic for me, since my introduction to the series was the SNES version of Wizardry V. I have an idea that this version is supposed to be easier than the original (maybe you're less likely to lose stats when you level up?), but it's certainly not trivial, I can tell you that.

I've reached the third floor of maybe a dozen; the actual levels are relatively small, so in theory I imagine this game could be beaten quite quickly if you can manage not to die. I've already experiences total party death once; I got lost on the third floor, which includes rotating floor panels or teleporters or something like that (the layout is a grid, designed so that if you're teleported or rotated you wouldn't notice), and died by inches wandering around falling into pits until everyone was dead. Creating a new party is certainly a demoralizing experience; it was originally going to just be a rescue party, but considering the cost of resurrecting six characters and that I have to grind up my new party if they're going to survive to reach the old party, I've more-or-less written the first group off. Now it's back to where I died, playing more carefully, scrupulously using the mapping magic to try to keep track of what's going on.

Star Citizen 2.5 Beta (PTU) has been released. Will be playing that, along with Elite Dangerous and of course, a little more No Man's Sky. Since we can't part exchange spaceships in NMS, I need to save 3M for the perfect ship!
I'm gonna play "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines" (set it up in wine) and "Mount & Blade: Warbrand" :-)
Wasteland 2: Director's Cut has been sitting in my library for a while now, so giving that one a go this weekend (and beyond).

Favorite space-themed game? Hmmm... I really enjoyed the Mass Effect games (only played the first two so far), but I think the edge still goes to KotOR 2:The Sith Lords.
