I don't know if GOG lowered the number of reports to delete a thread, or if that many people are reporting atm. Everytime I mark a bnuch of threads - even very recent ones - at least half of them is gone already.

God knows why though unless they've done a mini forum overhaul along with tackling the spam bots...
It's no secret the forum needs an overhaul, but starting from the generic default avatars surely looks like they've got their priorities wrong.

Not to mention that our avatars are still broken - don't display correctly in quotes, and are all scaled down.


Starting to wonder if GOG has a monthly reward for the employee who breaks the site the most...

It would be nice if they told us what the hell was going on. The way Judas was talking in the avatar thread makes it sound likes it all some bug, but it's clearly not...

It's my suspicion that they published a "work in progress" site update. Rushed out, to somehow contain the spam problem. And now they're trying to fix the problems and bugs with this update.

Meanwhile I'm thinking about those new toxicTom's scripts:

How many "spam reports" do we need to gather to delete subforum? 10? 20?
If some trolling script-kid is patient enough, he can delete very easily all subforums (also non-spam ones) this way - he just have to log in through a few accounts and start cleanning "for fun"...

Don't you think GOG have serious security problem here?
