According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_Chunsoft#Published_western_third-party_games_in_Japan they're the Japanese publisher for CDPR's games. I hadn't known.

Let's hope GOG can make a deal with them and we can get https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/katana_kami_a_way_of_the_samurai_story too.

If I understood this article correctly, Spike Chunsoft said that they have no plans to bring the game back to GOG.

Those of you who haven't picked up Way of the Samurai 4 yet might want to consider it while it's still on sale 80% off in case it gets pulled as it did on Steam.

Way of the Samurai 4 is purchasable again on Steam, with Ghostlight still retaining publishing rights... for now.

Not surprising since Spike Chunsoft never published anything here. The old Japanese IP paranoia for not having DRM doesn't make too much sense for this title however since it was release on GOG in the past. So if you missed your chance of getting it, you can just hop on a boat and get it the old fashion way if Spike Chunsoft won't bring it back.
