As far as High Fantasy is concerned, there's probably nothing like it:
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Worth watching just for the classic 80s Jim Henson puppetry alone.
My feeling is that most good ones were cut short.
Apologies for supporting necro-posting. But:

I second Twilight Zone. Pretty warped and confusing, but immensely compelling, especially for a young kid (when I used to watch it) back in the day.

1959, 1985, 2002 or 2019?

I watched it back in the late 70s/ early 80s, so guess it must be the 1959 version that I saw. Though I do remember seeing some later on in colour (possibly the 1985 version). Some of those were pretty good too, but only some...
No mention of Sea Quest DSV? (from memory it was a bit like Star Trek except underwater in a submarine but its been so long since I saw it that I may be miss-remembering. It was definitely a good sci-fi show though)
Revolution may also be worth a look (its set in a near-future world where anything that uses electricity in any way has stopped working)
Dark Angel anyone? (there aren't too many good TV shows out there that genuinely count as cyberpunk)
The Terminator TV show wasn't half bad either (better than the last couple of movies that's for sure)

It was quite litreally a shameless rip-off of The Next Generation, right down to the annoying kid genius and the captain and the ship's doctor having this sort of will they-won't they relationship. I remember liking it as a kid, but when I tried to return to it a year or two ago it really didn't hold up well. Maybe it's better later on (I only lasted a couple episodes), but I doubt it. TNG might have had a rocky start, but there was still apparent potential, ambission and talent in most of those early episodes. SQ just feels rather half-hearted and bland.

Two episodes in, I think it's really good. It might end up being better than the original movie, which was superb visually, but had a rather lackluster story and bland characters.

Supernatural is great, at least until the creator leaves after season .. 6 maybe? Not sure.
I couldn't get into Supernatural. It's not bad, but ...it seems pretty half-baked. Not a bad casual watch.

Orphan Black is in my to-watch queue, but it's what most of my friends rave about.

Someone had mentioned Continuum as Canadian sci-fi - it takes a few episodes to really get going, but the time travel and particularly the issues around good/evil are handled well. And yes, Lexa Doig (who also has a cameo in Eureka) in particular is fantastic, albeit she's not the lead.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Lost Girl (Canadian fantasy). It sort of blows up in S3, but I really liked the first two seasons. It does have some nudity and sexual themes, what with the main character being a succubus and all. But post-Game of Thrones, it probably would look tame. ;)

If you have Amazon, "Good Omens" (Gaiman/Pratchett story) was enjoyable, particularly Michael Sheen. Tennant was entertaining, and I liked Sian Brooke.

Jon Hamm...was ...also in it.

The official teaser trailer for 1899, the new series from the creators/showrunners of DARK went live a couple hours ago.
I wait for Vikings: Valhalla TV show, gotta watch Witcher 2 some day too. God of War is one too. God of War could be great if Sony gets some good actors.

Seeing as this thread has already been necroed, I might as well add my two cents for those who might be interested.

I watched The Wheel Of Time TV series recently, and really enjoyed it, so much so that I am watching it again with wife and daughter. I am hanging out for Series 2. It will be interesting to see how the new actor for MAT CAUTHON compares ... I really liked the original actor.

You need Amazon Prime Video to watch it. Luckily my oldest son lets me use one of his licenses for Prime.
Legend of the Seeker is worth watching because Bridget Regan...

ReVolution comes to my mind. Seems post apocaliptic but ends being quiet sci-fi.

Another one came to mind on the train, Falling Skies.

Since my last answer, I watched/I'm watching:

* His Dark Materials - decent adaptation of the books, waiting for the third season. Isn't perfect, but much better than that Golden Compass movie.

* The Mandalorian - only the first season for now, the second one is in my watchlist

* Halo - just started watching

Some series I'm interested but are still being produced:

* The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

* Willow

* Magic: The Gathering

* Horizon Zero Dawn

In my watchlist:

Foundation - for those who watcher, how's the adaptation? The books are a bit slow paced sometimes

The Witcher - how's the violence and sex levels compared with the books?

I like Seaquest DSV, but only watched the first season because was the only one which was exhibited in my country(and the only one released in DVD too).

The series is in my watchlist, but the story is easy to follow? The books can be complicated sometimes and my parents aren't much patient with this type of story.
Sorry for the necroing, but since last post I managed to watch:

Fallout (excellent adaptation)
Percy Jackson (at least is better than the movies)
Wednesday (decent)
