Normally I'm not much a fan of mystery/detective shows, I only like Grimm bacause of the humor and the creatures
Good rememberance, I forgot about Legend of the Seeker, watched all the series
Guess is a bit dark to assist with my parents
Saw this mini-series, a interesting one
Wolfehunter: A classic is
Space Above and Beyond Damn good. both of these shows had promise but was cut after the first season.
I like shows to have good story with awesome characters. I don't care if they use models or puppets or CGI as long as its feels believable to the universe. First seasons tend to be the worst because of character development. So I try to keep and open mind. I prefer dark and mature stories but on occasion cheese is good. ;)
- Eureka is the classic 'small town with a secret', in this case, the town is full of scientific geniuses and the main character is the town's sheriff, who is a newcomer. Lots of humor.
- Warehouse 13 is another Sy-Fy series, is inspired by the warehouse scenre in the end of the first Indiana Jones movie (a giant place full of mysterious artifacts and the people who collects them).
- Seven Days is a time travel series where the time machine can only travel seven days to the past and is only used to reverse tragedies because the fuel is limited (is alien technology)
- Early Edition is one of these series where the main character can see the future and try to avoid bad things, in this case he receives every day the next day newspaper (and a cat)
- Primeval New World is a spin-off of Primeval, which ocurs in the United States instead of England, like the original.
Never saw Space Above and Beyond, looks interesting but is always bad try to get after a series you know is already cancelled prematurely...
I like good characters too, this is why I liked SG-1 and Atlantis and not Universe, because lacked charismatic characters
English is not my native language then spoken-only english is problematic to me
Forget about Sanctuary, good show too. And have yet to see the other shows.
We are already seeing some episodes actually and I agree about the cheesiness of some episodes...
How's the humor of KIlljoys?
And assisted the beginning of 'The 100' and didn't liked much
Sadly, my parents aren't much fans of horror but glad for the suggestions
One day will try to see myself, but I already know my parents will not appreciate said type of series
Defiance we saw the first season, I liked even being a bit slow sometimes, but my father already ceased to continue watching. The Librarians we saw the full season recently
