The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (-50%)

Sweet, this is what I've been waiting for. :)
Finally! Instabought.
Finally! You guys earned my money instantly BUT please Nicalis consider adding achievements to Isaac. This game benefits A LOT from this system. It takes hundreds of hours to unlock all the content, and achievements are a huge incentive to do that.

Other than that, extremely happy for the release, and I hope that Nicalis will bring more of their games here.

IMPORTANT: I really hope you don't turn this thread into yet another pointless discussion about "Nicalis Stole Pixel's Cave Story" because that's one of the biggest rumors ever involving a game. Pixel himself expressed satisfaction with Nicalis in a recent interview he gave (https://twitter.com/SuperSomething0/status/1469352925755547652), so please let's just talk about the game.

NOTE: I'm not defending Nicalis, there are a lot of horrible stories surrounding the company, but specifically about the Cave Story rumor, it's clearly a lie.

If anyone bought the BoI: Rebirth and Afterbirth, could you please check if the local coop works / if the 4 player coop is integrated into Afterbirth.

The gamecard of BoI does not show Co-op as a feature and in Afterbirth, the extended 4 player coop is not mentioned.

I guess the information was just forgotten, but the recent release quality made me suspicous.

Awesome!

Many lucky people are about to get addicted to Isaac for the 1st time :)

Does anyone know if Cave Story + supports XInput gamepads (e.g. the xbox 360 controller)?
Glad it's here but was expecting something with alittle more "umph". An average sale, not as exciting as the others. Ah well.
Finally! Instabought both games plus one DLC.

Yes it does just checked as been holding out to get these on a drm free storefront for ages (would not buy on on a drmed storefront) so got em while cheap granted waiting to get the issac dlcs till after I am sure I like the base game enough but Cave story does work with such a controller

I'm playing it with a friend right now and we tested Rebirth + every DLC seperately for you to make sure. Local co-op worked for us in every version with at least 2 players. This includes closing the game and continuing a run.

Hey, thanks a lot!

About Isaac, if you like the base game you literally have hundreds of hours to play so you definitely can get the DLCs later at another sale.

Thanks I get dlcs are hit and miss and heard varies different things about the dlcs for Issac both good and bad.. Though I admit I usually buy dlcs on a deep discount/ sale price unless something like Bright Memory infinite happens where only the first game before the release of the other one nets one the other game then I will buy the games full price if they aren't too price or too many at once

Note just was giving a example of a case where I will buy dlc full price when usually I buy dlc only when on sale cheap enough

high rated
What a huge disappointment of a release, 2 amazing titles without their Mac/Linux versions which are otherwise available on Steam.

I was excited to see these titles on GOG.
However, the omission of Linux/Mac installers is disappointing.
