Good news! As of this day two classic games made by Mike Singleton - The Lords of Midnight and Doomdark’s Revenge - are available on GOG.COM completely free.

Enjoy those breakthrough titles that paved the road for fantasy series like King’s Bounty or Heroes of Might and Magic.

The Citadel was an unplayable clusterfuck, so you haven't missed much IMO.
The real third part - The Eye of the Moon - was sadly never finished, and now that Mike Singleton has passed away it never will be. :-(

I'll be honest, this is the first I've heard this statement made. I guess I should really try these out, after all King's Bounty and Heroes of Might and Magic are my all time favorite games.

And if we're making wishes for what we'd like to see release here: Hammer of the Gods is the game game that inspired the Heroes of Might and Magic series, and apparently it plays almost identical. I keep mentioning this, but I guess I'll have to try out a pirated version of it, so that I don't build it up in my mind and end up being disappointed.

Um, I am thankful and all, but could we get free games that don't make my eyes start to burn for some odd reason? o.0 ;)

(The above is a joke....it's nice to have more freebies, even if they did go heavy on certain shades/colors)

SirEyeball: Good thing I managed to buy both and put them in my backlog before they became free ;) Seriously though those of you that are lucky enough to get these gems free should be gratefull and GOG please get going on a XP emulatot like the DOSBox but for later window games that wont work now on win 10
There is one, but you need legal copies of those OSs to use with them.
