orcishgamer: a more optimized input (and there's plenty of these).
Oh? Do tell.

Also, can you show me an example of a professional cyberathlete using one of these "optimized inputs" to play a competitive first person shooter?

orchishgamer is a genuine 100% troll and a console peasant. There isn't a more accurate and intricate a control than a mouse. The only alternative to KBM is a tablet touch interface or a gamepad, both of which are horrible.

orcishgamer: snip
You know, people have different opinions. Screw the objectiveness of whatever is best, we like different things.

However, with that said, I would like to get an example of where a gamepad or joystick is better than KB/M without the game designer handicaping the game in favour of the one with less amount of buttons.

Try playing street fighter and super metroid and other kinds of games with kbm.

There is a reason KBM only worked for mostly Shooters, Top-Down or Isometric Strategy and Sims, Point and click, and certain kinds of RPGs

When it comes to pointing at things accuretly yes, heck after playing shooters on the PC for awhile my brother wanted me to play halo 4 and shit I felt underpowered.

But don't deny that there are some games that work better on Gamepad.

Obviously, but isn't this discussion about what controls work best for an RPG?>

Pen, Paper and Dice? Or have I been playing the wrong RPGs so many years?
