Orkhepaj: that why this should have a price limit like 10-15euros , I think that would be better,
if you buy a game for 30euro for someone and you get a 2 euro one it will taste sour that for sure
imho just add in the limit if you still can

paladin181: It doesn't sour the taste at all. Not for me. For me it's about giving, and if I get something I like back, it's icing on the cake. Now I will say that getting a $60 gift (as I did one year on here) made me feel a little bad for only spending $40, but if that is what my Santa is willing to spend, then... So be it.
nice , maybe different cultural thing , here in hungary we usually agree to a price range when we have these secret santa events

nmillar: Please let it be Joe.

When we gift in person, we usually limit the amount to keep people who can't afford as much from feeling like a cheapskate. Since this secret Santa is entirely voluntary, It's more about the giving than receiving. Receiving is nice, but giving is the real reason a lot of us do it. My wishlist is mostly expensive games, so if someone saw that and opted out, I'd understand. I usually add a few cheap games to my list during this event for just that reason.

**FTR: I purchased Terminator Resistance today. If my secret Santa had also done so, I apologize in advance. I did not think about it being on my wish list as I bought it. I am terribly sorry for violating the guidelines of this exchange!**

If people want I can send gifts a little early and deliver them starting in about an hour or so :)
eh, you guys know my answer to THAT question
For me it's not necessary to send it sooner. I like wait until morning :)

Yes, please!
As it is already early Christmas morning for some, I would say Santa would not be entirely early. ;)

Those who want to could wait until Christmas morning arrives in their timezone to redeem their codes, and this would also give our Chief trenton(e)lf time with his family Christmas Eve night. I'll support whatever our host would prefer.
I am happy for presents to go under the tree "early", and for anyone who wants to to open them, but I shall be holding off for at least 12 hours at the time of this post before opening them.

I hope everyone has a fun time with their respective holiday.
And thanks again to trentonlf for running this!
