All Santa's have been assigned. If anyone has any concerns or questions please message me as this thread is not the place for it :)

Thank you everyone for participating, it is going to be a Wonderful Christmas!!
I hope the others got a notification upon receiving trentonlf's private message, because I didn't. In case you didn't: just start a conversation and you'll see if you've been sent a message.
I got a notification. But not for another PM I was sent and not for a reply in a thread. Something is wrong with the forum notifications again.
Unfortunately, my budget is lowly 23€ right now. My card got lost and I can only offer my wallet money.

that why this should have a price limit like 10-15euros , I think that would be better,
if you buy a game for 30euro for someone and you get a 2 euro one it will taste sour that for sure
imho just add in the limit if you still can

This event is not the value of games sent but the giving. I for one don’t care if I only get a $2 game I will still buy as much as I can for my giftee as I enjoy doing that. There will never be a price limit in an event I am hosting.

Good, it's not a competition and it shouldn't be about making a gain by getting more than you spend. It is about making someone else happy - and getting gifts is very nice too. The relative value isn't important. It's the being nice to each other that makes this event enjoyable.

I do understand the sentiment, including guilt if you don't have much to spend, especially this year. However, that's what us elves are here for ... to help out as we can. So I would say do what you can and have fun in the spirit of the season and of giving, and trust trenton-(E)lf to handle the rest. One might even say it could be considered Naughty to suggest putting us elves completely out of a job. ;)
I planned to buy multiple titles, that's way I'm sad about my wallet money since that is hard to achieve with so much money. You really need bit more for big prizes.

It's nothing to be sad about, especially in a merry occasion such as this event.

And, to be honest, it is people who are sincere like you that make me want to participate in the community.

You want more honesty? I've got no big budget for this event as well, unfortunately (this year hit a few loved ones and myself hard). It was a last minute decision (as you can see I'm the last to sign up) because I wanted to give joy to someone, be it 2 or 20 euros in value. I will definitely try to keep a budget for the next iterations :)

Be happy that you are well (hopefully), and be proud that sincerity is one of your values.

Now let's all kick this sh*tty year away and hope for better things to come.

Now that the Winter Sale has begun, here is my wishlist (in no particular order)

Dark Quest 1&2
Curious Expedition
Queens Wish: The Conqueror
The Technomancer
Ticket to Ride
Hand of Fate
Star Wars Battlefront (Classic, 2004)
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter
Drive on Moscow

I would be very happy with any of these games
Hey, I almost forgot about this.

I wish to be a Secret Santa!

I only have a couple of games on my list which are newer and more expensive so if that's a problem don't concern yourself too much and enjoy the holidays!

Cyberpunk 2077
Disco Elysium
Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Obsidian Edition
Wasteland 3

I hope the holidays bring everyone the joy that we've been lacking during this testing year.

It doesn't sour the taste at all. Not for me. For me it's about giving, and if I get something I like back, it's icing on the cake. Now I will say that getting a $60 gift (as I did one year on here) made me feel a little bad for only spending $40, but if that is what my Santa is willing to spend, then... So be it.
