Fever_Discordia: Haters!
'TET on Quest' transcends corney and terrible and is beautifully elegant - I'm actually sad that its not actually real!
avatar
cmdr_flashheart: Same here. I thought that was wonderfully thought out by Telika, actually.
Jesus I just read that back, and you know the worst part? I went back and edited an 'actually' out, originally it read
'TET on Quest' transcends corney and terrible and is actually beautifully elegant - I'm actually sad that its not actually real!'
ACTUAL-actually-LY!
Gah! I hate me!

Fever_Discordia:
Hah, I didn't even noticed that! I do things like that all time, honestly- a combination of multitasking and typing fast, it happens.

edit: I mean, haha sucks to be you. You're probably bad at words.

Just had a thought in the bath -
Maybe it's that TET found those disks in an 'ObsCure' place!
And yes 'An Enigmatic clue just for a returning game?' Well maybe its mainly for the 2nd one that's never been on GOG before, with a 'By the way - we're bring the 1st one back too' rider
Maybe even that 2D one that supposed to be some kind of spin-off too...

Does ObsCure have exclamation marks or monks, though? Surely those must fit in somehow.

You have to get relaxed sometimes! :) One should sing along joyfully during the bath, not think about TET's quest ;-)
Sacred 2 Complete.
It has plenty of fetch quests, there are some evil monks and it came on multiple CD's with an atrocious DRM.
Was the hint meant to be super obscure? Maybe we're overthinking it.

Watch it be Sacred 2.

And exclamation marks?

At 700+ wishlist votes it should come but it also feels kind of "meh" having two RPGs released in the same week. Not to mention not something I'd consider "classic" unless we get a Tommo title too or Night Dive does end up releasing something.

What's the other RPG? Age of Wonders? I thought that was more of a strategy thing...

Maybe. They both seem to have the (generic, to me) "fantasy" setting so I was hoping GOG would have something else this week.

I will never complain about an action-RPG being added to the catalogue.

I would never complain about ANY RPG being added to the catalog!

I tend to gobble up every RPG, RPG hybrid, and straight out strategy game that comes to GOG. It's a sick obsession I have...

I'd be fine with Sacred 2 Complete
I'd be fine with the Risen titles
I'd be fine with Wizardry 1-5
I'd be fine with Titan Quest
I'd even be fine with Gothic 4 Arcania

All those have been guessed, and I guess I have a sort of crazy thrill of wanting every RPG, noteworthy and even supposedly mediocre, just so I can nab them and sink many hours into them.
Maybe we are thinking too complicated and it is Discworld.
I haven't played any of them so I don't know on how many discs they came or how the rest of the hint is appropriate.
It's probably not even an action RPG etc. because that hint is too obvious. Maybe we need to look for platformer, adventure, or even FPP game which has quest marks, hero quests and so on.

That's what we thought about the previous week and it ended up being Slave Zero, one of the first guesses.
