Gandos: The reason (at least according to Paradox's official claims) is that Steam makes it easier to include multiplayer, achievements and patch updates and that, while they could offer a version without those things, they don't want to sell an "inferior" version.

Of course, how this applies to their older titles (the games before CKII which have DRM-free versions and are no longer being updated) has yet to be explained....
Especially as Paradox used to own GamerGate which has none of those things! (except where they're acting as a Steam key reseller)

In other news...
Arrg - back to having the classic release on Thu it seems - two...more...DAYS!

And nothing special for April 1st either - GOG much be afraid of antagonising us at the moment, for some reason...

Fesin: I hope it's somehow a hint for Risen 1+2, though I can't possibly make a connection to the games and the hint, other then the hint seems to suggest an RPG.
Well, risen was on 5 cd, I think.

I wonder if there is a database of videogames that list their support, and that allows search by that criterion (2 floppy, 5 cd, 2 dvd, etc).

I remember years ago I played WoW it might as well have been "offline", as I never interacted with any other players in the game except for dungeons with parties set-up by the game. In fact it was kinda atmopsheric and fun exploring all on my lonesome in some jungle as it was getting dark in-game.

It's gotta be Titan Quest. The gold exclamation fits perfectly and all you do is run fetch quests. Still a great game and looking forward to the release.

If it wasn't for Judas' answer, I would still be believing that. But now I'm not sure whether I should feel disappointed for it not being Titan Quest, or relieved to think that the gog staff wouldn't inflict us such horrible puns.

I will stick by my instinct on this one. It was a pretty generic response by Judas and I just don't see what else it could really be. I am not normally confident on what gets released here, but I would be really surprised if Titan Quest was wrong. The video, the fact that we have Nordic Games on here now, and the fact that there were rumors it was coming anyway. Also, it was JUST on sale at Steam for around $5. I would expect to see a deep discount on release here as well.
