PaterAlf: After I saw this interview, my new guess is Wizardry 1-5. Or maybe the Eye of the Beholder series.
Well, if it is really related it apparently took them four years to get there. Now I'm really curious.

JudasIscariot: I'm working on one but not sure how to go about it since the surprise coming soon-ish is quite the surprise and I want no spoilers at all :D
Since there will be no weekly staff picks today -at least it looks like that when I see the "comming up on twitch" thread- I guess that today starts the tripple insomnia sale!

SSI Goldbox games?
Fallout is back?
I know, the devil sold the soul to GOG. So, Microsoft games are coming.
I hope "surprise" means new publisher coming.

Maybe the Magic Candle series of RPGs?

The interview sounded more like 1970s style, rather than games from that era. The Magic Candle series were similar style to the Ultima series (which started in 1980), with dated graphics and sound, compared to what was possible at the time.

Hum yes, The Gold Box series seems to go to GoG... After all, GoG has acquired the rights of many others SSI games last months...
