I saw that furry-footed burrower & piñata dragon cartoon once. This was also my intro to D&D.

And yet it was miles better than the increadibly boring and poorly animated 80s cartoon.

This wasn't my first introduction to D&D but it's a rather accurate representation of my early experiences with tabletop RPGs.

That's strange, I don't recall I nor anyone else making a qualitative comparison the 2 cartoons, especially in light of how Nostalgia Filters tend to cloud one's objective judgement. Did someone kick your dog and urinate in your in your breakfast cereal?...

This one is a fair bit newer, but still D&D related.

You actually managed to find a copy, or purely digital?
The classic style managed to make quite the revival these last years.
I definitely see the appeal since 4th edition basically became like an MMO.
Unfortunately it seems like moving to the US is the best solution if I ever want to find another group ;)
