Smannesman: Ah right the Dead Alewives, classic.
I got that way back in the day in a selection of skits attributed to Dr. Demento.
This one is a fair bit newer, but still D&D related.
The classic style managed to make quite the revival these last years.
I definitely see the appeal since 4th edition basically became like an MMO.
Unfortunately it seems like moving to the US is the best solution if I ever want to find another group ;)
Digital I have that and the first 3 supplements from drivethrurpg.I got that way back in the day in a selection of skits attributed to Dr. Demento.

pimpmonkey2382.313: Now I find myself playing this one exclusively. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons_%281974%29
Smannesman: You actually managed to find a copy, or purely digital? The classic style managed to make quite the revival these last years.

MightyPinecone: wasn't my first introduction to D&D but it's a rather accurate representation of my early experiences with tabletop RPGs. <a href="http://www.gog.com/forum/general/this_was_my_first_introduction_to_dd/post9" class="link_arrow"></a></div><div class="small_avatar_2_h"><img src="//images.gog.com/6ba8d4f6476de0dcfeb6048926f1bc841fc720796274bcfaaa97f8400abebaa0_avm.jpg" width="16" height="16" alt="avatar" /></div><span class="quot_text"><span class="quot_user_name">paladin181: </span></span>I love the version that's included with [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_lzgo7pmzk]Summoner.

I can never been introduced to something I have never touched the medium's full fletched personification.
I would like a suggestion however on where I could start, I have watched Spoon's Table Monkey series but in here, there is no market for D&D, so I have never seen a box set.
