gamesfreak64: I cant play 3d/fpp but even i know about the game, imho its one of the few fpp/3d games that has better graphics then most of the fpp/3d games i have seen sofar. most fpp/3d look ugly, but The Witcher has far better graphics.

mike_cesara: Don't you worry, I've spent more than a thousand hours in all three games altogether : )
just fooling around..
Thanks for the reply, it's good to read that it was just some 'fooling' around ...

That'd be very hard here not being aware of The Witcher I guess : )

:D i get it .... you mean all the big images on the frontpage of the website ...
i think big is good, this way i don't have to switch between glasses in order to see things straight...
if i were a rabbit or a hawk (hawk-eyed) i wouldn't have the glasses problem at all i guess.
still 15 days to last? o_O

Pajama: Bumping this as I'd like to know the answer too.

nightcraw1er.488: I brought it when it was released, but I was told at the time that whilst there is a single player component it is really heavily mulitplayer via Galaxy, so I got a refund.
Thanks for the info. I won't buy it then.

eiii: Do we finally get regionally different discounts on sales now, more than the usual rounding differences? According to GOGs game card The Witcher 3 is only discounted by 45% for me. Or have I only missed such substantial differences before?
And the Witcher 3 pricing saga continues...

Apparently it was a bug. Now the sale prices in Switzerland and Norway have been reduced too, and you should be back to 50% discount, paying $2.60 less than practically all of your neighbouring countries (not taking FPP into account).

Is it possible to play multiplayer mode of Witcher Adventure Game without using Galaxy?
No discount on the Season Pass? A lot of people have neither of the expansions and including the season pass in this sale would be very appreciated. Come on GOG, would it hurt that much to have a 10-15% off ?
I was keen on buying both expansions directly from your shop, despite that I prefer retail versions but it's a no-go at the moment :(

opticq: Why isn't the expansion pass on sale? :(
avatar
Marioface5: The second expansion isn't even out yet. To put the pass on sale would be unfair to those who bought it previously.
Why does it really matter? There are only two expansions with no plans on any others according to their website. Blood and Wine is the last expansion and The Witcher series sadly comes to an end. That being said, the two expansions that they are selling are on sale so really, it's a better deal than the expansion pass (especially if you already bought Hearts of Stone). And, as far as I'm concerned, these guys/gals deserve the money. Without a doubt one of the best games ever and if Blood and Wine is anything like Hearts of Stone as far as content is concerned I would be wiling to pay full price. They just don't throw these games together. They actually give a darn and work hard to put out the best quality they can. I haven't seen many game companies continue to support and fix their games the way these folks do. Not to mention the numerous free extras they always give to us. Cough up the dough. They deserve it. I know I did. I'll do without a couple of meals. Ha! Good Luck.

It's fine for me as well, but I can imagine it can be a bit annoying if someone doesn't like the story. As for me, I wouldn't be here if not The Witcher probably. I found GoG when I was looking for patches for the very first game and discovered I can register my copy and download the game already patched. And got Beneath a Steel Sky, TeenAgent, Torchlight and Lure of the Temptress for free : D Shame I didn't play last one yet..
cool

I heard about GOG long long time ago, when they first started, i buy pc gameplay magazine since 1991 (dutch/belgian)
so thats almost 25 years now :D , ofcourse i dump most magazines after 2-3 years cause i dont have the space to keep all the magazines...

I read in a small article about GoG... they didnt had prepaid pay like paysafe card (wallicard was the one that later became paysafe) so gog was not an option for me.
Lateron i read in a update they accepted paysafecard, then the fun began... i got all the old games i had on cd

( Jagged Alliance and Baldurs and all the classic versions, yup, only classic cause imho the gamedevs messed up bigtime after they got stung by the 3D/FPP bug which gave them some flue causing them to continue the good games in 3d versions only, thats were i draw the line: 3D /FPP ( i cant play it aswell (motionsickness/photosensitivity).

Thats why i keep 'nagging' and 'begging' for more classic non 3d games, the good old games.
Its a good thing AGS exists, cause now i have loads of ags games (all wadjet eye games) and many more good old 2d point and click adventure games)

Samantha Fox had a naughty song which featured lots of "How you like it?"
and then lots of "more more more ", same goes for the question: how many point and click (classics , no 3d/fpp)
games would you like ?
I';d be saying : "More, more, more ...
cause i want to have as much point and click games possible....

I didn't have much time for video games in nineties, that came by the end of the century, with first person shooters mostly. More serious gaming started not that long ago for me.. And before taht, Giana Sisters was good enough to keep me busy : D
I do remember Samantha Fox, but none of her songs to be honest ; ))
Hmm the only Thing I'm still missing from the Witcher Series is the Board game which I never really knew if I'd like it or not.
But at that Discount eh gonna buy it just to complete the collection.
Like in another company CDP favor new customers before pre buyers. I know, I am in minority, but for me is it signal to wait next time for full version with discount.
