So it seems that the manual for The Witcher 3 was updated. I have not looked at it yet but it is signficantly larger and my assumption is that the original manual reflected the original game, while the new manual most likely reflects changes to the game and its user interface and other features over time bringing it up to date with 1.24 and including information about the expansions presumably. Under the assumption of that being true I'll tip my hat to CDPR for bothering to do this as most game companies would probably never bother to update their manuals to track changes over time from patching the game etc.

It also seems that they've added the soundtracks for the expansions in both FLAC and MP3 format, which is also pretty cool as the game has a fantastic music score, and presumably the expansions do also (haven't listened to it yet). Another tip of the hat for this!

I do however have two minor gripes about things. :)

1) All 3 of the new files return "failed - server error" when I try to download them. I have ample disk space on all my drives that can hold these files 10 times over on any drive currently so there are no disk space issues on my end. This is a GOG end problem.

2) The expansion soundtracks appear to combine the FLAC version of the soundtrack and the MP3 version into a single archive. This is not done for any other games on GOG as far as I'm aware and I'd personally prefer to only download the one format I'm going to use than to have to download both the FLAC and MP3 just to get access to the one I want. If this were artwork images or text files or PDFs or something it wouldn't really matter much to aggregate them because the combined total file size would be on the order of anywhere from many kilobytes to a few megabytes or so. But video and audio files are massive compared to text or images, and aggregating huge files like FLAC+MP3 into one archive is wasteful of both bandwidth and disk space.

It would be really nice to see these archives bet broken up into a separate FLAC and separate MP3 archive to allow people to just download the one they want. If possible to split the soundtracks up for each expansion into their own separate download also if that is possible. I can't tell yet as I can't download them yet because of problem #1 above so if it is a single soundtrack shared between the expansions then this request doesn't make sense. It is nice to be able to have non-aggregate music downloads for soundtracks though, in particular not aggregating multiple different file formats. Not to mention someone might just want the MP3s because they download quicker, but they end up having to download the massive FLAC files also. Personally I just want the FLAC files, but I can understand why someone would just want the MP3s.

Anyway, thanks for the new manuals and soundtracks either way, this is pretty cool. Don't take my minor gripes to heart though, they're minor, but the squeaky wheel sometimes gets the oil so... :) squeek squeek! :)

The Witcher 3 patch 1.24 fails with a server error in Galaxy too.

Are you talking about the base game, the DLCs, or the new patch?

The base game, at least, seems to be the same as before.

Right now (or, more precisely, when MaGog updated its DB a little over 1h ago) GOG's public game info feed only lists the Korean installers, and none of the other languages' installers.

And how many download options do you see in your library entry for TW3? As I said, it must be just a glitch: probably there's only one installer which contains all the languages and they've just borked either the links in the user's libraries or the feed itself... :\

When I switch to one of the other seven languages, I also get language packs for the respective language. See the attached images for examples.

I see, thanks. Then it looks like it must have been a hiccup from GOG's feed... or from MaGog. We'll see in about 4h after the next MaGog udate. :)

EDIT: It must have been MaGog, as it looks like GOG's games api is actually listing all the files: http://api.gog.com/products/1207664643?expand=downloads
