Fixed:

- Camera doesn’t show the inside of Tilo’s head anymore.
- Reloading a game while the chase music is playing causes that music to play forever until you escape successfully from an enemy again.
- Perform song volume can be much too loud sometimes.
- Stairs near Silas (and leading to empty tower) block Tilo when walking with the armor on.
- Main menu’s black background appears slightly transparent.
- Idle stance of rats corresponds to sword & shield instead of halberd.
- Missing sleeping particles (“Zzz”) in some cases.
- Fade planes in final corridor and off the main gallery appear transparent instead of dark.
- Current resolution doesn’t show as selected in visual menu.
- Screen resolutions in the Visuals menu are not properly revealed when scrolling down with gamepad.
- Tilo can push sleeping guards off their chair while wearing the armor.
- Game sometimes crashes when showing the Save/Load UI (fixed in Unity 5.3.6p2).
- Oil lamp intensity weakens too much when depleting below half point.
- Rats can get stuck in front of an opened sliding door after reloading a game.
- It is possible to keep refilling the lantern while running away from an oil jar and maintaining the interact button pressed.
- Parented mouse camera mode can cause the camera to freak out in small spaces.
- Obstacle camera correction setting sometimes reverts to active even though it’s been turned off.
- Mouse-clicking on an empty space in a container UI is interpreted as picking up the last remaining item (or “I didn’t MEAN to take that hornets’ nest!”).
- Grain bag near the broken cart in the courtyard cannot be looted.
- Wrong costume message displayed when swapping costumes.
- Corrupted animation when Tilo throws an item while wearing the armor (salute animation gets triggered).
- Some items (ie. plague doctor hat) can get their scale values out of whack when repeatedly equipping/unequipping them via mouse-click.
- Tilo can climb short walls while carrying a heavy item.
- In some older saves Gusto sleeps in the air.
- The flatulent rat is still floating off his bed in old saves.
- Grease slicks from grease jars remain visible after reloading a save.
- Grease vials thrown directly on rats do not make them slip and fall down.

Changed:

- V-sync now has more refined settings (off, every 1 v-blank, every other v-blank).
- Alert icons of enemies now have a different frame color when they see Tilo (full white) and when they can only hear him (thin black).
- Items belonging to the same costume now appear next to each other in the inventory, always from head to toes (no more looking for items spread all over).
- NPCs now give out more precise information about the location of the quest items you’re supposed to find.
- The last quest now completes successfully when entering the final corridor.
- Key from rat in barrel room can now be pickpocketed more easily from behind.
- Removed deaths counter in statistics menu since it doesn’t really make sense within the scope of a session.
- Replaced some of the trees with new models and better textures.

Added:

- Spider venom location can now be revealed on your map (for a price).
- Added master volume slider in the audio options.
- Added texture resolution setting in visual options.
- Added ambient occlusion setting in visual options.
- Added antialiasing setting in visual options.
- Smoke from torches now automatically adapts to the proper ceiling height (curling along low ceilings, rising under high ceilings).

Developer Tools and Cheats
Developer tools and cheats, seen in some of the alpha videos, are now available to everyone.
A new option is shown when creating a new map, "Enable Cheats". This is prison specific and cannot be disabled later.
When enabled:

- All construction occurs immediately
- A new 'Spawn' toolbar button permits instant creation of any game object for zero cost
- Water can be placed like any other material
- Research in the bureaucracy screen can be sped up by holding down the right mouse button on the item

The Function keys now perform debug services:

- F1 Edit world properties (Very easy to crash/ruin the game)
- F2 Profiler
- F3 Script Debugger
- F4 Dialog Editor
- F5 Sound Editor
- F6 Sprite Bank Editor for Needs icons
- F7 Sprite Bank Editor for User Interface icons
- F8 Sprite Bank Editor for Game Sprites
- F9 Debug rendering options
- F11 Enlarge Map in All Directions

Note:

- Cheat prisons do not allow achievement unlocks
- Cheat prisons cannot be sold for profit.

Policy Window (continued)

- You can now set which misbehaviours warrant an increase or decrease in prisoner security.
For example, murder can be set to immediately make a prisoner Max-Sec.
- You can now disable the cell quality checks that determine which cells a prisoner can be assigned to.
When enabled, prisoners who misbehave will not be assigned to a nice cell, even if that nice cell is the only one available.
When disabled, prisoners will always be assigned to free cells if that is all that is available.

Modding System (continued)

- Added World.NumPrisoners and World.Capacity. These return tables containing the current number of prisoners
and the total number of cells in each security rating respectively.
- Added ability to use markers in object tooltip strings (via objectTable.Tooltip). See lua_function_list.txt

New Stuff

- We’ve implemented Aron Granberg’s A* pathfinding system to improve characters’ path selection and local avoidance. Aron was really helpful, we recommend it!
- Updates to the police system make policemen react to aggressive behaviour from any character in their line of sight and ensures those killed in action are replaced
- NPCs have a new head turn animation for more realistic looking around
- New assets and animation for hiding and showing the HUD

Changes

- To make the challenge of how to earn the highest scores more interesting, we’ve made Kim 15 years old when the game begins so a playthrough lasts 1000 instead of 1480 days
- Kim’s merit has half the effect on NPCs’ opinion of him (every 200 merit grants +1 opinion)
- To ensure a fair contest on the leaderboards, as a result of the above two changes, we have deleted some scores, sorry to anyone who lost theirs! We have more balance changes coming next update so watch this space!
- Towns’ colliders have been updated to have more consistent walls and alleys to hide in
- The travel line on the map has been redesigned to look neater
- Kim now respawns outside the police station of the arresting officer after going to prison
- NPCs only have a chance to insult Kim if their opinion of him is less than 40 (this rises as opinion drops)
- The ‘One Year Left’ panel has been replaced by the ‘Six Months Left’ panel
- If Kim is on his last legs, a notification is displayed at the top of the Health panel
- It is easier to enter countryside buildings such as campsites and stables
- Various conversations and UI elements have been polished

Bug Fixes

- The train will allows follow its track exactly
- Tutorial arrows are all the same size
- Tutorial sleep location will always be Mahbub’s stable
- A target icon cannot remain on screen after combat mode is switched off

LOCALIZATION:

- Minor text fixes
- Known issue: sometimes, your equipment won’t have the right size, a simple restart the character should fix it.
