mrkgnao: From MaGog's logs for 17 June:

NOTE! CHANGED Defender's Quest, changelog (http://www.an-ovel.com/downloads/chg/chg_1207659129.htm)
NOTE! ADD +++ Patch 2.0.1b DX (17 June 2016)

[No file changes yet. Or is this a changelog for Tuesday's update?]
No, last Tuesday was the 2.0.1 update for which the changelog is still missing. 2.0.1b fixes a few bugs that are still in this version according to the changelog. I know because I saw some of them myself.

While the game card claims that the installer is 2.0.1b it really isn't. Just as MaGOG says the installer hasn't changed. I've downloaded it again and did a compare of the files. The installer is still the same as it was after the 2.0.1 update a few days ago.

Wurzelkraft: Broforce

Update (17 June 2016)

We have added the Mac & Linux versions of Broforce to everyone's accounts.
avatar
Wurzelkraft: edit: The Windows installer has been updated too. New version number is 2.1.0.3. As you can see this isn't mentioned in the changelog.
The devs of Broforce really like top update their game. I followed the game since its early access state and I never saw so many updates so I'd expect quite a few updates on GOG as well.

Update (09 June 2016)

Fixed the language selection utility for the original version of MIND: Path to Thalamus.
The changelog looks a little messed up and the entries of today and 9th of June are grouped together so I included it here.

Anyone know if this is an actual separate patch file or does this mean DLing the whole damned works again? I see on the DLer page there are 4 parts of the Season Pass patch. Is this just one of those parts or what?

It is the whole download again. Apparently they made changes to the older episodes along with this new episode, so it is a full download, not a patch.

Edit: Awww, Ninjad by a kitty. :-)

The entire installer was updated.

I mean the game went from version 4.3.0 to 5.0.1 and with that there was a new episode added as well as some changes made in a previous episode or two.

Any new updates to the game will have patches, though.

Thanks, Judas. But bloody hell, you guys realize that not having a separate patch DL eats up a lot of peoples' monthly bandwidth cap, right? I mean, I know sometimes a separate patch isn't viable/feasible or an option, but this means I have to DL about 7 GB. Again.

Yes, we do realize that but if a patch on its own isn't all much different in size than the game then there is no point in making one. As an example, Galaxy downloads 10 GB for those people who have the game installed and that 10 GB is not a Galaxy issue but just how many individual files were changed or added to between the last update and now.

tl;dr there is no way we could've made a patch that wasn't nearly as big as the actual installer :/

I assume that's because the resources are compressed and that hides the similarities between the old and new builds from any kind of binary diffing tool?

Your guess is as good as mine as Unity does hide a lot of stuff on its own...

Yeah, as I said, I realize it's not always possible. But my ISP provider has been telling me I need to upgrade to a small business package due to the bandwidth/data usage because of the games I buy (and DL right away, because, you know, DRM-free backups, amirite?) Anyway, I always tell them to get with the way business is done in 2016 and since everything entertainment-wise is being pushed to digital and streaming they need to provide more for a reasonable price. It's a bit of an impasse right now, but I don't think I'll win this one with them...
