JudasIscariot: We stick to the official titles so we can't help that Beyond Zork was named, well, Beyond Zork :)

[...]
Of course you can't help with the official naming, but there are ways to make them stick together. IIRC, a few people in this thread in the unbundling one have suggested how this can be done from a technical/ web-coding POV.

toxicTom: Well, just add titles to series, give them numbers within, and let people sort by this:

Monkey Island 1 - The Secret of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 2 - Monkey Island 2 - LeChuck's Revenge
Monkey Island 3 - The Curse of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 4 - Escape from Monkey Island
This suggestion got the Vv221’s Seal of Approval.

JudasIscariot: No, just in-hat payments. :P

moonshineshadow: Hmmm... will there be at least achievements for unlocking all hats and colors? :D
Achievements yes, .99 cents per achievement though :D
While the perks of unbundling should obvious to almost anyone, the way it was implemented is puzzling. I simply don't understand why GOG didn't handle the procedure by organizing all of the untitled games under the library gamercard, much like the way they handled alternate versions and extras. As is, it just feels bloated and unorganized. That's not even touching on the Heroes Chronicles situation.

On second thought, I lied -- I DO understand why it was executed as it was. GOG will always service the lowest common denominator, as evidenced by their DOSBOX configs. I'm not going to stop shopping here, and am mostly just blowing off steam (in the least productive thread to do so, of course), but I'll be damned if this hasn't been a chaotic shift.

Then for that, it's best to send constructive feedback via the Support webpage. I am more than happy to give directions how submit feedback properly to those who may have trouble navigating our Support system.

Oh and so we are clear on this: feedback gets read around here but you are free to draw your own conclusions regarding feedback.

Argh... with all these things, you should think about offering a subscription based version where all this stuff is included for a daily fee :P

This is why we include tools for easy tweaking a given DOSBox game within the Start menu so that you can tweak the game to your heart's content without having to dive into a dosbox.conf file, except for the most extreme of cases.

Also, it's impossible to account for the near-infinite amount of hardware-software configurations that are present in the wild so to speak so making a DOSBox configuration that will work without ANY tweaking whatsoever on the user's part is also impossible :)

Sorry to chip in here, and this doesn't apply exclusively to GOG, but sometimes company support can't provide quick answers, because they don't necessarily have all the information themselves.

It's been my experience that, at times, even company departments have to wait on others before an answer can be delivered. That may not be the case here, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were.

EDIT: And I see Judas has already replied whilst I was trying to type a reply! (On tablet) :-)

Not really related, but when are we going to get the Linux version of System Shock 2 that's available on steam?
