DyNaer: Meh, we have the "awesome" chat instead , with the loss of all past PMs for the morment ......
I really do hope that the PMs get converted to conversations and I'll be able to do the friend stuff without the Galaxy client too.

The PMs are in progress and yes, you can do friend things without Galaxy as you can add and manage your friends just fine without Galaxy :) I know because I don't have Galaxy at home (no Linux version) :)

And Galaxy also has no XP version like support just told me (even though everything works except for the game I told them about - maybe it was just the easiest way to blame it on Galaxy not supporting XP because I am quite certain that the bug would occur on Win7 as well but I have no interest in testing this thing another minute now) so I stopped my beta testing and deinstalled the whole thing.

Will they fix the library sorting or is this now what we have to live with?

From MaGog's work-in-progress logs:

The name of the library entry for episode one of the "Blackwell Bundle" has changed from "The Blackwell Legacy" to "Blackwell Legacy, The", moving it from the Tease to the Bees. Good move.

This is the only unbundle name change in the new account system (NAS) so far.

"-- Manual sorting is no more. We have decided to skip this functionality because it was beyond our reach to deliver the quality we wanted to. We decided it would be better if we were focused on the numerous other options requested by you. "

Basically, manual sorting is gone. If you'd like to vote for it, there is a wish already.

I already read this post and after a few nights of crying I have already accepted that one of the most beloved features GOG has to offer (others being the great bookshelf - no more, the easy GOG downloadlinks - no more, the great PM system - no more ... ah - I guess I'll stop here) is gone. But this was not what I meant. I was talking about a FUNCTIONING sort system. You don't sort anything by normal titles. You use SORT titles. By doing so you can be sure that parts of one franchise will be sorted correctly (just take a look of my unbundled and scrambled Blackwell "Bundle" chaos or Atlantis II being sorted before Atlantis 1 and much more). It was promised in the same posting that GOG will learn how to sort things properly and this is not it.

"Also, as part of the solution, we will be changing the way that titles from a series are ordered (i.e. Broken Sword should always show up before Broken Sword 2). "

To see what I mean just look at my attachement. And yes, it is SORTED by title. Hard to believe ...

right clickt on an user's avatar :

if you send a message , the user is added to your chatroom
if you requested a friend invite it's added to your friends list

the problem is the following :

if you never sent a message to a friend , then this one isn't listed in the chatroom
but as i said you can manually add one friend in your chatroom

it seems to working as it should, but it's confusing at first, except for the pasts PMs :/
For some reason you're now in my Chat contacts - with a nice blank history of exchanges, as our previous exchanges are of course missing.
