You just have to love this.

1) My library does not exist anymore - 404
2) My PMs are gone as are all my contacts.
3) Regarding my bug message for Galaxy I was told that Galaxy does not support Windows XP (so sorry all GOG users like me who still use this OS - which are quite a few). Not that bad because I was starting to hate Galaxy and loved the old way.
4) Got a friend request and cannot answer - button or arrow does nothing. But maybe the site also does not support Win XP at all. Hey, let's not care about those users at all. Great idea! Yes, I know it's an old OS and I have Win7 on my other HDD but I just like WinXP more.

I got numbers 2 and 4 myself.

I have found the solution for my "missing" library. The solution is "barefoot essentials". The barefoot link does not work anymore. The normal "Games" Link in the account section however does work. So another point to cross of my list of "don't likes".

Was an issue before with everyone, but now it seems to have been fixed.

Mine are erratic - the total doesn't always add up to the individual notifications, and they also don't refresh correctly. The most interesting part is that if I open the front page or a game page, the total is the one I had when I first logged in.


We no longer have PMs, why would you expect to get notifications for them?

Meh, we have the "awesome" chat instead , with the loss of all past PMs for the morment ......

Thank you for the info. Yes, it has been fixef for me, too. One good thing today - only one. Do they plan to fix that stupid sorting order in the library too? If GOG really don't know I love to help them: there should be a field in the database called "sort title". Nobody sorts anything by title - for a reason!

So true... PLEASE bring back the old system where we can sort our games ourselves. And maybe the old design in general? Maybe as an optional setting? I want my old wood bookshelf back :(

Yes, that is sooooo great. Since the friend request thing did not work a few minutes ago, I searched through the forum for an old entry of a user just to tell him why I could not accept his request. This user already was in my PM-list which unfortunately is gone for now. Not much fun being GOG customer today.
Go to the community wishlist (scroll really far down) and you can vote for the old Box-Shelf look. Don't know if they care (we are listening to your feedback ... mah ... I am not so sure anymore) but it's worth a try.

it's bugged in many ways :

a - a user which was on my PMs lists was added automaticaly to my chat list, but as you said i can't accept the invite ... so it's not in my friends lists (i assume that's the reason)

b - i managed to add some users which were on my PMs list , maybe because i personnaly requested a friend invite to them.. so if the bug in the a) occurs try that...

c - the friends ain't automaticaly added to the chat room , you must select them to add them inside; that's quite ackward if i understood how it should work, unless it's intentional.

Argh, I was talking about forum notification, not PM notification. My mistake.

You know, I don't know how that works, and the reason I hesitate to use it is that I fear that any new conversations with people I had conversed with in the past will screw up the whole thing when the old exchanges get imported.

right clickt on an user's avatar :

if you send a message , the user is added to your chatroom
if you requested a friend invite it's added to your friends list

the problem is the following :

if you never sent a message to a friend , then this one isn't listed in the chatroom
but as i said you can manually add one friend in your chatroom

it seems to working as it should, but it's confusing at first, except for the pasts PMs :/
