Alm888: I'd say GOG is rather liberal with its "
Customer-first approach" when it comes down to dealing with big-bucks publishers. But GOG compensates its frustration dealing with small indie developers: in that case GOG becomes a highly curated elitist store with high standards and plentiful demands. :)
Don't be unfair. GOG is still a for profit company. They are waaaaaaaaay more customer friendly and approachable than most publishers or game store fronts. Sure, wanting the ideal is nice, but ideal is called ideal for a reason - objectively, it doesn't exist.
GOG is still one of the best in customer support and care out there, and I don't think we should appreciate that by being bitter. Sure, fair criticism is needed and should be said if you feel like pointing it out, but consider the realities we live in before being unfairly critical. Relative to Activision-Blizzard, EA or Steam GOG is still caring and really trying. Name another store that has regional price balancing with handed out store credits, money back guarantee, fulfilled community wishes, DRM free games, and the list goes on.
