Don't fall asleep, don't look away… heck, just give up blinking.
Prepare yourselves a cauldron of hot coffee and stock up on eyedrops! Our infamous Insomnia Sale returns with a relentless stream of limited-quantity deals, one game after the other, nonstop until the games run out. Or the sheep doze off.

We've been studying your valuable feedback on this annual event, including comments like "AAAAARRRRGHHHHHH!!!" and "Please, why won't you let me sleep?!". We took them to heart and decided that what you guys are saying is that you need more gaming stimulants to fight away sleepiness. Worry not, we're here to help.

You lucky Insomniacs will also be treated to a number of games never before seen on GOG.com as well as the best-ever deal on our crowning jewel - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (-50% after the recent price drop, that's $24.99 in the USA).

If you want to learn more about the intricacies behind this whole science of non-sleep, check out the promo FAQ. But don't dally there too long, because games will start disappearing before your bloodshot eyes!

The GOG.com Insomnia Sale starts Monday, March 21, 2:00 PM GMT and will run until the limited-quantity deals run out.

elgonzo: Update: I got the refund, was not a problem at all.
By the way, i am mightily impressed by the GOG support. They contacted me via PM shortly after i wrote my post in this thread (i did not even send a refund request yet) to clarify some details of the refund. Kudos to the lads&lasses at GOG.

CARRiON.FLOWERS: Most of the time they're pretty awesome. At least from my own experiences.
Yes, they are.

In comparison to Steam support, that sucks totally, they are gold.

liamphoenix: I wonder if people are just buying games to get it to advance.

Arcanum? Look at how fast those went.

Great game, but I can't image there are fifty people left who don't already own it.
Yes, it's hard to believe that somebody didn't own it already. Like Fallout 1 and 2.

Maybe they are buying it as gift?

PincushionMan: Trine 3? The ones that the devs apologized for? I know there's 25 copies... never mind, it's nearly gone.
What was wrong with it?

Tomorrow at Buzzfeed: "10 sales strategies you never thought would ever work" ;-)

mkess: And yes, nudity is far less a problem here in germany than brutality.
We need more countries like this.
I wanted Trine 3 - tried to buy it last time around but by the time I'd brought up the game page it was gone. This time I didn't even get to see it! I used to be a huge Insomnia fan but this is just taking all the fun out of it. :-(

a4plz: The coin told me to be fiscally responsible :(
avatar
liamphoenix: That coin has completely missed the point of sales XD
Sometimes I like to give my currency the right to decide its own fate.
I can't get the page to load in my web browser or in the galaxy client. It may be the sale of the century but some of us cant participate =(
Main page completely dead?
Game rotation stopped...
Star Ruler 2
that only appeared like a few games ago...

They apparently forgot to write an ending for it!

... or it's more being like two-face.

Sometimes a coin drop is the best way to decide.

I agree. For project programming times, I often used my "proved dice". They were as reliable as any other method. ;)
