Laberbacke: If anyone wants to know: The Telltale formula works surprisingly well with Borderlands. I enjoyed it.
avatar
omega64: It's their best.
What did you think of Wolf Among Us?
avatar
zlep: Dare I say it... Insomnia has been dumbed down for the casuals. ^_^
Damn casuals, they ruin everything!

Shake your fist harder!

NuffCatnip: From what I´ve heard it´s about exploration and boss battles, there aren´t that many enemy encounters beside the boss fights.
It´s quite beautiful and you´ll get a couple hours of fun out of it (some reviewers took 3, some 8 hours to play through it).

Niggles: Oh no

zlep: That's been the problem with this round of insomnia. Everything comes around again so regularly that there's no chance of missing anything. The challenge is gone.

Dare I say it... Insomnia has been dumbed down for the casuals. ^_^

Niggles: its a challenge to grab something when it goes fast. Not when games Kerbalize :/

Laberbacke: "...a Lovecraftian horror visual novel ... with erotic content"

Where do some people get their ideas?
From too much bad sake, and eating stale raw fish.
It's from Japan, the land of the prehensile penises.

I wish a part of me was prehensile.

Case in point, way of the samurai.

Right? xD
It's amazing that it even exists though.

Really, I was interested in it, being a long time fan of the comic. I've heard good things about it.

But I'll admit I've heard even better things about TftB. As in "their best work yet".

If you like both Borderlands and Telltale games, you are golden. If only one of them, should still be good.

And if you like neither? Borderlands isn't my thing, and I bought a couple of Telltales earlier Sam & Max games and was very disappointed at their disjointed illogical way to figure out how to work a room basically on it. It did not compare favorably at all to me with the old Lucasarts title as that one never made me feel stupid or stuck even if I had to think things out as at least it felt like it made sense why to do something and how to do it.

I liked the first Borderlands...haven't played any of the Telltale games (but bought TWD, TWAU and now this in this sale, to find out what all the fuss is about) - so I should be good (I hope).

Yeah, it´s like Titan Souls or Shadow of the Colossus.
