IAmSinistar: Callahan's Crosstime Saloon is another that folks here have shown interest in. And Mr. Bates told me that he is still in touch with a number of the authors whose works inspired the games, so he could potentially negotiate those rights too. A real blessing, as tie-in games can be an absolute nightmare in that regard.

toxicTom: That would be great - Gateway 1+2, Companions of Xanth, Death Gate, Shannara... With their hand drawn graphics and eloquent prose these games are pretty much timeless.
I'd like to check out Superhero League of Hoboken too!

And that one isn't licensed AFAIK so might have less snags

That's one of their titles that I am personally most interested in getting here. :)

Now you've spoilt it! I intentionally avoided to name this game...

;-)

But there's another one, approx. from the time of Spellcasting and Eric...

Well, I'll try not to jinx you again, but I'm actually most interested in their original properties, like Mission Critical and . But I certainly won't balk at developed properties like [url=http://www.mobygames.com/game/death-gate]Death Gate either. :D

IAmSinistar: ...Timequest. ...
Aaargh.... again!... What could help now?! Crosses? Unlikely. Garlic? Black cats?

You have to have faith for that to work, Mr. Tom! :)
I believe in garlic and cats. And crosswords.

As do I. And both garlic and cats are super-effective on me, provided your aim is to bring me happiness. :)

There you are :-)

Bliss!
Ok, I approched Techland's business team asking them if they consider selling their older games (Crime Cities, Chrome) here but unfortunately I got short negative response. Sad but it's their money.

Dang, tried to make it my temporary identity, but without the "expand avatar" ability it doesn't quite work.

Hmm Timequest reminded me of Wonderland

I wonder who's got rights to THAT these days...
Interplay maybe?

It was published by Virgin Games, so it may be tied up in that morass. But if not, then it likely went to whomever holds the overall Magnetic Scrolls catalogue. Which is a pretty fine catalogue of adventure games. If no one here knows of any Magnetic Scrolls buy-out, I think I'll try tracking them down.
Did a quick bit of research on Magnetic Scrolls. They were acquired by MicroProse, who was then acquired by Hasbro Interactive, finally to end up with Infogrames. However, since we have a number of the MicroProse titles here from that time period, it may be possible that the Magnetic Scrolls titles are also available.

I realise that text adventures with minimal graphics might be a hard sell to GOG (at least Zork has name recognition). But I'm going to try to reach out to Ken Gordon on LinkedIn anyway to see where the rights may lie.
