well, couldnt pick up with the thread because of urgent irl matters recently then when i log in, it grew up 40 pages bigger
can't keep ,up with that

but i got at least one important lesson:

there is some "higher virtue authority" in this forum whom you must seek approval or benevolence if you ever want to set up any social activity on this forum.

i was considering running some crimebox-like stuff here (something a bit similar to the puzzlecourt) but it seems it involves too much bowing and intimate-part licking of whatever appropriate people it requires if i ever want to run that in peace and without trouble for myself or any fellow forum user/participant

i thought gog communauty was rather fun and great, so after being silent here for 7 years or so, i tried to bring my nose out a bit but it's just the worst toxic bag i saw since long (and i've seen quite a bit)

It's not that bad. Sure, a lot of drama around, a lot of humorless people too, people with strong opinions, scammers...
...oh okay, it's not great either but you can have fun after you've rage-quit a few times. If there's a lesson to be learned I believe it's "don't give a crap and have fun". Help the occassional user from time to time just to feel good. Make fun of the occassional user from time to time to feel better. And always, always wear sunscreen. I HATE THAT SONG.

Alright, since things have carried on for far longer than I ever predicted, I'm officially closing stage 2 and considering it a beta test. The results shall be posted soon-ish.
